In our latest VLOG we return to Alton Towers Resort for Theo's FIRST EVER experiences of Nemesis Reborn, The Smiler and more as he finally hits the all important 1.4 meters in height!
From shrieks of laughter to moments of fear Theo embarks on a mission to conquer as many of Alton Towers Resort's bigger rides as he can (or at least feels confident enough to).
We also take a closer look at the current construction taking place on Project Ocean, grab our first look at some new merchandise and more.

Sign me up to the Theo fanclub, he’s so fluent with his thusie speak and has his own opinions doesn’t just agree with Dad. He did really well to overcome his nerves and go on the smiler. You can’t have a bad day when Theo’s around! Glad towers redeemed itself by the end of the day, I love Towers. My most memorable first ride was oblivion, thought I was going to die! Theo still got that to ‘look forward’ to!
He's such a wonderful little lad! Full of life and enthusiasm with an incredibly kind heart too!! So, so proud to call him my son 🥹❤️🙏🏻

I have very fond memories of riding nemesis for the first time in 1994. Absolutely rocked my world. It was such a unique coaster, unlike anything else I'd ever done before. Been lucky enough to ride better coasters since but Nemesis will always be special.
Same here but Nemesis will always hold a very special place in our hearts too ❤️
Well done Theo!! Watching the wee man speak about Nemmy was just like when I was his age and how we have all ended up enthusiasts! Cant say I agree with the smiler I find it like a shopping trolley on tracks but great that he had the guts to go for it!
Haha tbf that was his first experience of The Smiler lol and he hasn't much experience of being able to draw comparisons yet either so give him time haha!! 😉😁

Nemesis Reborn was absolutely brilliant seeing the ride completely retracked was fantastic the roar isn’t exactly as it was before but it’s still got something the station looks so much better than it used to especially the eye
The whole upgrade drastically improves the overall experience in our opinion 😁👌🏻❤️

I always skip Galactica these days. I find it boring and hte hanging on the brake run while they sort the train infront. If it's on anymore than 10 mins I won't even think about going to ride it.
I was there last week and rides were dropping in and out all day. Deffo something the park needs to address!
I rode Oblivion opening year. I was 11 years old and it was my first "Big" coaster. I remember being so scared in the build up to getting on and having that same reaction in the station that Theo had when you were in the Nemesis station. But, I loved it and the second we came off we went straight back round for a second go! I still scream just as loud on the drop now!
Haha you can't beat your first coaster rides! The anticipation and adrenaline is fantastic!! Bring on my (Joe) first ride on Hyperia lol, I'll definitely be feeling the same way as Theo was then haha! 😀

I'm booked to go to Thorpe on the 13th so I have everything crossed that Hyperia will be open by then!!

Wow, he is very well versed on theme parks and rides, certainly more than me when I was his age and I definitely wouldn't have done any of the rides either at that age glad I got to experience nemesis once before it got re-tracked.
He absolutely loves theme parks and rides and has a photographic memory so soaks everything up like a sponge 😂🙏🏻
@@TPIOfficial ah i see, being a theme park enthusiast is certainly a great hobby and although I don't go to theme parks often I would still consider myself to be one aswell.
Looking forward to my trip and riding the iconic nemesis ! As a fellow young rollercoaster enthusiast I totally understand how Theo felt in the queues and will have to borrow some of his bravery to get myself on the smiler !😅😂

22:07 I have heard that you can get your 20% Merlin Annual Pass Discount on the 4 new food outlets down in X-Sector but the prices are looking a bit steep for Pizzas and Burgers but Fish and Chip stall not too bad!

I am absolutely terrified of coaster. I wish i had someone encouraging to go on with on my first time. I'm bringing my son for his birthday on 12th October
Ahh we hope you have a wonderful time 😁🙏🏻 roller coasters often look far worse off ride than they are on and as such you can build them up to be much scarier than they actually. Why not adopt our approach - try everything once and if you don't like it, you don't have to do it again? 😁👍🏻
Went on the Black Hole when it first opened and was about 10 years old. Was completely dark and was convinced it was a vertical drop. Scared the BeJesus out of me! 😂
