Both of my big brothers played MapleStory together since the beginning of the game. When I came to life, I was exposed to this game and at the age of around 4, with constant help from my brothers, I started playing. At the time I played the Cygnus Knights were the newest, and we chose to play one of each together.
When I opened the game and chose my character, this was the first music I heard in MapleStory, and I fell in love with it.
Since then, anytime I hear this song, this masterpiece, I get reminded of the time I was really young and happy, just playing MapleStory with my big brothers.
Oh, What a time to live in.

This was the one and only game that i rlly got into as a kid and idk what brought me back here after like 13 yrs but i guess I've just been reminiscing my past a lot and just thinking about my carefree childhood literally brought me to tears. I've missed this time so much it's unreal.
It nearly brings me to tears as well. Private servers just aren't the same, this was such an innocent time for everyone. Old maplestory was a magical experience that can't be recreated :(

Man I remember when me and my brother played MapleStory and out of all the songs they have this one brings back so many good memories. I just love this song and the game. It came so far from what it once was and I am so proud of Nexon. Way to go you guys and thank you for all the games, memories, and songs. Thanks to this song I am going to try to get back into it and to any who stumble along I highly recommend this game.

I'd always watch my brother play this game for hours on end with his Dawn Warrior character. this music always felt like home to me. a decade later and the soft harp still invokes a prestigious sense of nostalgia within me. and now I've created my own Dawn Warrior, which I'm still grinding to gain experience. I'm reliving my brother's best memories.

I played maple story before big bang patch, It’s very classic, I didn’t have money for brought any potion, weapon and armor, I just waiting for drop it and sit on green chair for regen hp and mp, I played spearman, assassin and flame wizard, All song in classic map are very beautiful and It’s my memories. Thank you maple story : )

This song is so good, possibly my favourite song in the entire OST except First Step Master. It's peaceful, and this was back when I created my 2nd of like 8 accounts and couldn't see that the explorers were a choice (was wondering where they went since I started playing when only the explorers were out, and the design for the class select was terrible at the time) so I made my first Night Lord.

I... I can't actually remember anything from MapleStory. All ik was that I played a bit of it back when I was 8. All I do remember is the melody of this harp and thinking how beautiful it was. 10 years later and I finally found it, I found the song. It's so beautiful...
I used to main a cygnus (dawn warrior to be specific) back when the max level was 120 and you couldn't hit that level in a day with all the 2x cards in the world......where has the time gone? I loved and still do love this game and the bgm makes me so nostalgic now

I can't remember when I heard this, most likely in a Maplestory Animated video/series on RUclips, but I always remembered this and wanted to find it. I never checked the Maplestory soundtrack until now but the song closest to this was "this is my despair" from Madoka Magica Rebellion.

Alot of people were already young adults when Cygnus Knights came out. 20-30. I was 20 I believe. High lvl community was primarily adults around 20-30 ish on both gms and ems. I'm 36 now soon 37 but I feel the same emotions as those who started MapleStory as a child when I listen to this bgm. Old Maple had the best social community I have ever been a part of in any game.

Was when my maple career really started
Reboot, always played 3 days a year during burning, hit the damage wall (no damage) and quit
Starting 2020 made my first kanna
Man... if I knew years ago, got her byebye farming and funded my duel blade, bored of him now I main kanna
2 weeks of farming nets 17.5 billion
Got her to 220 now all within a month
And man ereve is a different breed, I did my first cube session for meso gear in ereve next to Cygnus and Shinsoo, it’s now my permanent cube location
Always when you’d tp in I’d turn music on, this piece of art makes me think of a distant past, especially if you want to think hard about the maple world

Hmmmmmm... I don't remember this song that much... I remember that this island was called Victoria Island, after reading another comment about a guy choosing Cygnus Knight characters with his brothers. I remember all the classes' main guys standing there, and you had to talk to one to choose your class~!!!

omg hated this ... its nice but i hated it cuz the cygnus knights tutorial was annoying af
