  • There are many areas to explore along this river in South Australia. There are rocks mainly of quartz, feldspar, granite, basalt, mica and ironstone. There is an old 1800's stone ruin of a homestead that once was used as an inn for travellers passing by for rest and refreshment. the area had much activity with horse drawn carriages, horseback travellers and bullock teams transporting goods to and from for early settlers needs. Today it is farm land with sheep and cattle and a picture perfect location for exploring and hiking.

    It is so cool imagining what life was like here at the ruin. I think of how simple life was then, simple yet a lot of work without any modern conveniences at all.
    I sure enjoyed watching.

    The river and the giant old eucalyptus trees are secret witnesses to history. What stories they could tell. Thank you for the beautiful historical account.💓 I envy Jay for finding smoky quartz in brown water. 🤩Wow! It's a great place. This could be one of my favorite places. Thank you both for this wonderful trip.😘

    Hi Brun and Jay,
    Awesome place Brun,
    I’ve got a great permission that I’m yet to get my Lazy behind and go there.
    It’s an old Cob & Co overnight rest place used way back during the Victorian gold rush, the property has been owned by the same family since then. It’s never been detected as far as they know, I might go there this coming spring, it’s a future video lol, once I finely purchase the manticore and when I’m confident enough using it,
    Have a great weekend 👍

    • @brunfree
      @brunfree  Месяц назад +1

      That’ll be awesome to do. The manticore will be good there, with old places dig every tone it’s the best way really then you won’t miss anything🫵🪨
