Where Next From Here?

This project was my Graded Unit for my HNC Media Analysis and Production. Although, I was proud of it, especially since I received the A I needed for it to get into university, I hate watching myself.
This project was based around Scottish Nationalism. It focused on my view of wanting to leave Scotland, as that was the only way to get a start in my career in media. However through a series of interviews with family members (some having moved to Scotland and some having lived here their entire life) I started to form a different opinion of my nationality.
I directed, wrote, shot, and edited this project.

Editing Notes: My primary influence for this project was that of Casey Neistat's vlogs. I tried to capture an energy that is present in all of his videos. I wanted to keep it punchy, and tried not to stick with one thing for too long. I wanted a natural flow as well, as though it was all filmed in one day.
