Loved “When the Day Comes” and I never read any kind of time travel. Many people say the second book is even better. I’m looking forward to reading it.
I remember when you did the first video and can’t believe that it was 12 months ago which means I have been watching you for 12 months hopefully you will enjoy them prayers and blessings to you and your family love your Aussie family friend John ❤❤❤
I recently read one of Melanie Dickerson’s fairy tale remakes and it wasn’t one of my favorite books. I’m definitely going to try When the Day comes, just borrowed it from my library. Last year, I discovered Rachel Fordham by reading The Letter Tree. Just awesome. Will read the hope of azure springs as well. Great video.
My favorite was “A Distant Shore”. It follows the lines of the daughter of a child trafficking ring; the man in the story saves her from it, but she is still faced with the challenges that come from growing up in that environment.
Hi Oceana! New follower here. I really enjoyed this video! I've read a few of Melanie Dickerson's books and had similar thoughts on them. I'm keeping them in mind for when my daughters are teens! I have yet to read anything by Rachel Fordham and I can tell I am really missing out!
I felt that too! I’m glad I waited because it might not have lived up to the hype. I was messaging Amanda which made the reading experience even better 😊
Azure Spring 🥰❤ All of Melanie Dickerson's books feel very young like that, so if you didn't like Thornbeck Forest, I don't see you liking any of her others, but I could be wrong lol
I may have a disagreeable opinion, but I loved Outlander. The first book was a little bit rough, but they were married and the times were different. It was the best romance saga I’ve read. Their love story is quite endearing. Jamie seems like the perfect partner.
That makes sense and there’s definitely still reasons to love it! I would never try it due to the time period but I know the Scottish vibes are really appealing
@@OceanaGottaReadEmAll. I really feel like it’s more about their relationship than about the time period. But I always seem to view things differently than others. It IS significantly grittier than what you typically review.
@@Meghan_Hoefs. I’ve only watched the first episode of the first season. I needed to be able to manage my visualization via the written word rather than someone else’s visual interpretation. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help.
Rachel is amazing, I read yours truly, which is related to the hope of Azure and loved it so much. I have the hope of Azure on my TBR. Meyer is amazing author, she has some contemporary romance that I really like as well. As per Melanie’s book they are fun and cute but read tp young to me. Feel like it would great for teens!
I like Melanie Dickerson, but some of her books are definitely better than others. The Huntress of Thornbeck Forest is not my fave 😅If you would be more interested in a Regency setting, give her Regency Spies of London series a try, I loved that one.
Yes to the being curious about books I am the same way! I really wanna try reading when the day comes especially after seeing you like it I know it must be good! I don’t think Melanie Dickerson is gonna be a author for you cause I’m reading her derricott series of fairytale retelling now and they also read young my library also has all her books in the YA section. I enjoy her books but they def read young and don’t have a whole lot of depth they are for me books I read when I just need a fluffy easy book to read! Loved this video!!
Huntress was disappointing. but I think at one time my 16 year old self may have enjoyed it. It kept my interest but the dialog was very simple and the plot needed up being basic. I did really enjoy one of Melanie’s other books (but I don’t remember which one). She is definitely for young adults. Her books are all fairy tale retellings.
I am so happy to hear someone else not t enjoy Dickerson because I just finished my first one and felt exactly like you, just didn't care and so shallow
Maybe you could do a video asking subscribers for their fav Christian fiction books and pick 3 of those and do a vlog for reading those!
Wait. This is a GREAT idea!! Planning this immediately 🙌🏼
LETS GOOO🎉YOU KNEW I’D BE IN THE COMMENTS ASAPPPPP
❤️🔥
Yassss!!! Chapter 29!!! That twist at the end!!! 🔥🔥🔥
LOVE when the day comes!!! And it's sequel 🔥🔥❤️❤️
When the Day Comes is one of my all time favorites! I actually even think I liked book two even more.
Loved “When the Day Comes” and I never read any kind of time travel. Many people say the second book is even better. I’m looking forward to reading it.
I’ve heard the second is better too! We’ll see if I ever get to it

Loving all these vlogs so much!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼❤️❤️

Your book corner is such a great background!
You always inspire me to do stuff like this! 😍 Such a good video!
Thanks Alysha!❤

The huntress cover is so great🤩I plan to read it in April since it’s on my 24 in 2024 list! We’ll see!!
Your reactions to When the Day Comes makes me want to read it! I feel like I’m like the last the one who hasn’t read it. 😆
I felt that too! I’m glad I waited because it might not have lived up to the hype. I was messaging Amanda which made the reading experience even better 😊
Azure Spring 🥰❤

I was going to say the same thing, all of Melanie Dickersons books have the same vibe to them so I doubt you'd like other ones
😅good to know…
I loved, When The Day Comes!
Fun video + great hair! 😉📚
Thank you 🤗
The chipmunk 🐿️ speed up parts hahahahah

Does the series follow it very well? I loved the time period, but I could not deal with the cruelty that Jaime went through.

When the day comes was my favorite of last year!
When the day comes has a 2nd book and a 3rd book soon!
In this Moment is even more surprising than When the Day Comes in my opinion
Yeah the outlander comparison is really just the time travel 🧳 parts 😁👏since it’s hard to find a good love story with time travel
Your expressions were my expressions 👏🏼👏🏼💯💯🤣🤣
I like Melanie Dickerson, but some of her books are definitely better than others. The Huntress of Thornbeck Forest is not my fave 😅If you would be more interested in a Regency setting, give her Regency Spies of London series a try, I loved that one.
That is hilarious when you cover part of the page so you don’t accidentally see something! I do that too!!!
😂 I didn’t want to spoil myself!
When the day comes looks so good
✨only Rachel Fordham could turn this around✨👏
I loved When the Day Comes. Definitely 5 stars.

Love❤Rachel Fordham haven’t read that one yet! putting it on my tbr😊
I feel the same way about Melanie Dickerson, so after reading a few by her, I've given up.
NEVER CONSIDERED THE ENDDDD RIGHT
✨getting the TBR to zero let’s goooo✨
The Huntress is one of my fav Melanie Dickerson, but ya, her books are more fluff and not deep
Oh nooooo😭😭 I feel you girl
😢
I am so happy to hear someone else not t enjoy Dickerson because I just finished my first one and felt exactly like you, just didn't care and so shallow
I love Melanie Dickerson but I soft dnfd that one.
