@@ConvinceMeAudio yeah, I can feel the excitement. If the chain was “better”or the price was reduced further, I may have placed an order because, the price:performance ratio would be more compelling and made sense for me. Therefore, it is either the price got lower or the performance got higher that would have made me acted, although I am not sure if I had a better chain at that time, it would have tilted the ratio. Well done on your success so far, you are one of the best when it comes to describing the sounds and characteristics of a headphone system. It appears that the more you spend on the susvara chain the better they are. So if you have limited funds say 10k to spend on a new amp and headphones would still go for the Susvara and then what amp do them justice. Or go for something different altogether
Thank you for the kind words. Deeply appreciated, 10 K is a fantastic budget to get you running with SUS in a fantastic way in my opinion. May kte - bliss is an incredible stack Ferrum complete stack is another fantastic one, but if you want to unshackle the Headphones a little bit Monoblock ahb2 maybe a tube pre-or another type of pre-and an adapter would be insane too If you can grab HM one is another fantastic unit, but that will take your entire budget just for the amp and in my opinion, I wouldn’t use that amp personally and subjectively unless I had WD signature from rockna

Hi, I greatly appreciate your opinions based on your reviews. Ive been going in a bit of a circle and im trying to get off the ride. To keep it short. I have had several Summit-fi systems in the last two years and learned a lot at some cost. I currently Have a Lina Stack with Susvara and AB1266. I have decided I really want to build my chain around the SUSVARA. In the end I just think it's the best all around. What would you recommend as the best Susvara chain. I want to create a chain around it. I could just keep the Lina Dac and Clock and replace the amp? However I just want to get a Susvara chain that won't keep me searching for that optimal Susvara experience. Also what do you think of the HiFiman EF1000. Keep the Lina Dac and Clock and just get an EFoooo amp? I know its subjective and im not trying to put you on the spot but you have heard many more and me and Im getting frustrated of making expenditures and not getting to Susvara Heaven which is where I want to wind up. I would really appreciate you input sincerely thanks
This one is a little complicated. There isn’t a best of chains for SUS you can put $100,000 into it and it will still showcase the best of those equipment. I certainly have, also using the Raciny Bartoc v 2.0 Apex to I think the most electrostatic performance out of the unit more than any other very nice, liquid shallow depth for field but excellent articulation punch needs to be on high gain input to
Oooo it definitely has been and has fantastic comparisons here too, I think it was just a matter of picking and choosing if that makes sense nothing to do with the Headphones themselves just time I love me some utopia on tubes so excited for 2022 addition to come in soon at some point
How do you feel does it pair with holo May and let’s say Feliks Envy with WE300b compared to mentioned red October / wavedream signature combo. According to you description they may have a lot in common. I have a bit of trouble imagining it can get any better than Envy Perfomance Edition with We300b for that mid sweetness
@@CookieCurls Hi Cookie! Funny to see you here we chatted about getting a Werk One board once, what a coincidence, love your content. Yeah I own Envy, it’s wonderful with Susvara.
Using western electric tubes and Brimar All of these videos are being shot this weekend we just finished all the b roll Envy at its Apex with these top-of-the-line tubes, is probably only 70% of Red October when it’s ice cold just switched on there’s a big difference and a very big jump between the two categories but don’t worry a shootout is coming
a very minor thing that irks me about these headphones is that rarely anyone if ever bothers to pronounce its name the correct way Sue Swura (melodious or sweet words/vocals)
Liquid authoritative needs to be on high gain. I prefer Bartok firmware 2.0 to be honest but yes it’s very nice strange shallow depth for field in regards to the presentation. I’ve never seen anything like it, but a very electrostatic feel to the whole system, it was fantastic hoping to bring it in for review.
@@tonyd9998 I think it needs to be on high gain, otherwise not enough juice, otherwise it’s perfect, but trust me you don’t want to spend 30,000 on this. There are much much much better systems for SUS at less cost.
I wish there is a segment that focuses more on how to get the best out of them with more normal priced equipment. A headphone that needs 30K worth of gears to make them sound their best sounds extremely flawed to me.
Predominantly this video concentrated on what it was capable of when there was no limitations, but right now I am genuinely listening to SUS on the ferrum full stack and it’s glorious this will be reviewed shortly, yes $6000 it’s not cheaper at all but it’s spectacular, so impressed, and also you can have a nice experience with IFI Diablo two if you check out my review or CMA 15 which is now the CMA 18 at $2300. You can get decent performance, but I think there are much much better Headphones at these price points that can give you more on these lower end equipment in quotes. Because 3000 isn’t low end but for SUS it’s the bottom of the barrel and I think this little stack is sensational and it should truly start the flagship category
I recently purchased the Warwick Acoustics Aperio, not in small part due to the CMA review. While amazing, I am yet to be convinced that the Aperio outshines the HiFiMan Susvara driven by the HiFiMan EF1000 integrated amp specifically designed for the Susvara. I hope Dr. Fang will provide CAM an EF1000 and Susvara combo for review. While expensive, the EF1000 + Susvara is quite impressive, but then so is the Aperio. My last comment is that the Blue Hawaii driving the STAX SR-X9000 comes damn close to these state-of-the-art performers at a "somewhat" more affordable price.
@@grayfox198 I pre-ordered March 4th before the CanJam hype train started. It's funny, it was a comment on this very channel - the Stax review - that made me aware of it. I really liked the SR1b so that made me more confident in a blind-buy. Were you able to try it at one of the shows?
I still have my pair of 2.5mm variant from the day they first came out. And it’s been a great headphone however the most picky headphone to drive properly. Most amps fail miserably and unfortunately the susvara has a bad name amongst many reviewers because the amp driving them is mediocre or poor.
If only a retired old fart could afford any of these setups. I could sail off into the beyond in stile. O well, maybe next time is there still a planet to land on.

I am currently using the Silent Angel Z1 Plus as my Roon Server, combinations of a Chord M-Scaler, TT2, Gustard R26, a BB-chipped DAC, an AKM DAC, iFi Pro iCAN Signature, GoldenWave/HFM Prelude.
@@BillyKueekSG must admit I’m really excited for these Headphones. I’ve been hearing some interesting things about it. I can’t wait.
I was listening to the Immanis with an Eversolo Player, Aune DAC, external clock and S17 amplifier.
What chain is the best? I’m currently looking to get the holo audio bliss and wave dream signature that you were discussing. I currently have the he1000se-cayin ha 3a- smsl su-9. I want to try and go for an end game audio setup.
It depends on the budget you can literally go up to $100,000 with those headphones. It’s kind of nuts so there isn’t the best there is just incredible that might suit you but I think some of these systems might really make you happy.

@@ConvinceMeAudio yeah I’m thinking of going with the hm-1 and wave dream signature. I wish I could hear the setup before I pull the trigger
I love the Susvara in combination with the Lehmann Linear Amp but my ears are too big for the Susvara so I changed to the Hifiman HE 1000 V2.
Lehmann with Susvara??? It‘s a good amp, but absolutely wrong for Susvara and nowhere near good sounding with it…
@@Cirillion I used the BURSON AUDIO CONDUCTOR 3X Reference and the SPL Phonitor xe and they was to harsch and clean 4 the Susvara so my ears choosed the Lehmann 👍
Once you find that amplifier synergy for you, it’s done.
I have been amp rolling for a couple of years. Now, I am using a customized 300b speaker amplifier with a large transformer (from a local maker, adjusted to include a full power speaker output). I have not explored another amp for more than a year now. But before that, Susvara was not satisfying me 100%
What a damn good intro
Hi Coji from CMA hope you're having a great day I bought susvara 2 weeks ago and they sound amazing but I really miss my sennheiser HD800S sound stage does the susvara/mass-kobo 465 setup stage as big as hd800s stage is my top priority but don't want to mess with tubes unless i have no choice and ready to pay mass-kobo if it does it for the stage or maybe take the red october.
@@solrq8349 Red October will give you the biggest stage on SUS, but I don’t think there is a headphone on the planet that can rival the stage of HD 800 S that’s it’s one and only party trick, but the stage is far more accurate on SUS
I recommend keeping both headphones around, but Red October is the best biggest stage
@@ConvinceMeAudio thank you so much for the help one last question what is your recommendation for tubes all Psvane?
@@solrq8349 for Red October, I would say the pinch waste and the western electrics 300 B
But you’re good to go with stock for a long time, it’s exceptional
@@ConvinceMeAudio does it slam as Enleum 23R or close to a single AHB2 with susvara? i will take anyway even if don't but definitely I will be mentioning CMA for helping on this purchase. ♥
@@solrq8349 more
But don’t forget, I am using wavedream signature
Well done on your success so far, you are one of the best when it comes to describing the sounds and characteristics of a headphone system.
It appears that the more you spend on the susvara chain the better they are. So if you have limited funds say 10k to spend on a new amp and headphones would still go for the Susvara and then what amp do them justice. Or go for something different altogether
Thank you for the kind words. Deeply appreciated, 10 K is a fantastic budget to get you running with SUS in a fantastic way in my opinion.
May kte - bliss is an incredible stack
Ferrum complete stack is another fantastic one, but if you want to unshackle the Headphones a little bit
Monoblock ahb2 maybe a tube pre-or another type of pre-and an adapter would be insane too
If you can grab HM one is another fantastic unit, but that will take your entire budget just for the amp and in my opinion, I wouldn’t use that amp personally and subjectively unless I had WD signature from rockna
A70 pro worth it susvara? Pls respond
@@KevinAroni-uz5rl is that one of the topping amplifiers? i’m not familiar with it I need at least a manufacturers name.
A suggestion, why don't you make a tier list for dacs and amps and headphones? It attracts a lot of people too.
There is already a couple on the channel, but there are a couple of areas I need to do them for two
I wonder how the RAAL 1995 is going to stack up

@@N02tradamus it’s had a very strong reception. I’m genuinely excited.
But here are some of my favourite systems without a doubt that I think I would be happy not to touch
Reference:
Zahl hm1 rockna WaveDream signature
AIC 10 Riviera lampizator Golden Atlantic or Poseidon
Aic10 wd signature
A&S Red October wd signature
Viva 845 wd signature
WD signature is the best DAC I have heard under 30,000
@ConvinceMeAudio Hi, have you ever tested it with DCS Lina stack, if yes, what is your opinion?
I certainly have, also using the Raciny Bartoc v 2.0 Apex to
I think the most electrostatic performance out of the unit more than any other very nice, liquid shallow depth for field but excellent articulation punch needs to be on high gain input to
Why no comparison to the Focal Utopia? I guess because it's dynamic drivers?
Oooo it definitely has been and has fantastic comparisons here too, I think it was just a matter of picking and choosing if that makes sense nothing to do with the Headphones themselves just time
I love me some utopia on tubes so excited for 2022 addition to come in soon at some point
The Feliks Envy was kind of designed around the Susvara if I remember. Many Envy owners love the combo and feel like they were made for each other!
@@CookieCurls Hi Cookie! Funny to see you here we chatted about getting a Werk One board once, what a coincidence, love your content. Yeah I own Envy, it’s wonderful with Susvara.
Using western electric tubes and Brimar
All of these videos are being shot this weekend we just finished all the b roll
Envy at its Apex with these top-of-the-line tubes, is probably only 70% of Red October when it’s ice cold just switched on there’s a big difference and a very big jump between the two categories but don’t worry a shootout is coming
a very minor thing that irks me about these headphones is that rarely anyone if ever bothers to pronounce its name the correct way
Sue Swura (melodious or sweet words/vocals)
Wow! In five years this is the very first time it’s ever come up, I appreciate it 🐅
What do you think of the Susvara with the LINA stack?
Liquid authoritative needs to be on high gain. I prefer Bartok firmware 2.0 to be honest but yes it’s very nice strange shallow depth for field in regards to the presentation. I’ve never seen anything like it, but a very electrostatic feel to the whole system, it was fantastic hoping to bring it in for review.
@@ConvinceMeAudioI read that the Lina amp buffered inputs and more dive to a HP like Susvara, but some say overall performance suffers ?????
That’s add more drive
@@tonyd9998 I think it needs to be on high gain, otherwise not enough juice, otherwise it’s perfect, but trust me you don’t want to spend 30,000 on this. There are much much much better systems for SUS at less cost.
@@ConvinceMeAudio
What about just changing the amp potion? Example of another system for less? How about HiFi mans EF1000 hybrid amp and Lina DAC?
You think? Lol, nicely done bro 🎉
I hope you guys liked it, bloody hell it’s been a journey and a half 😂😂🐅
I’ll stick with a caldera and have a sick chain at 15% of the all in Sus chain price.
The final review for a soon to be dethroned king? Immanis is coming
I am eagerly awaiting my call from Danny about my pre-order.
@@LSDScreen I pre-ordered mine today! man I can't wait!
@@grayfox198 I pre-ordered March 4th before the CanJam hype train started. It's funny, it was a comment on this very channel - the Stax review - that made me aware of it. I really liked the SR1b so that made me more confident in a blind-buy. Were you able to try it at one of the shows?
And we are still waiting for Riviera review...
It will definitely come, but it’s a while off, at least four weeks we have Munich ahead of us unfortunately
The next Susvara has to be the one which is much easier to drive.
I own susvara until last year replace to HD 800s my system match better with hd800s. Waiting for the new susvara 2
I still have my pair of 2.5mm variant from the day they first came out. And it’s been a great headphone however the most picky headphone to drive properly. Most amps fail miserably and unfortunately the susvara has a bad name amongst many reviewers because the amp driving them is mediocre or poor.
what's up with the sun glasses in a dark room? you blazed or high?
I see Susvara. I like.

"You can't out-susvara a Susvara"
The Zahl HM-1 does NOT power the Susvara properly. Not sure how you can state that. Explained here: ruclips.net/video/0teedVodbI4/видео.html
It definitely does. But you can't use a low output DAC.

Headroom for power, scalability for threshold of drivers.. actually you’re incorrect, both AIC 10 Riviera and 465 were both here on the table during the meet, I highly recommend watching the video right the way through, there was an entire section on 465 alone 😂🐅 don’t worry both AIC 10 and 465 review will be coming in the next six weeks or so I had the aic10 here prior to this too, at Christmas 46 weeks, I recommend watching the video and posting your comment again properly ☕️
