Cozy Reading Nook Ambience: Heavy Rain on Window Sounds and Crackling Fire

- You're safe now. Tucked in a cozy reading nook, surrounded by your favorite books, heavy rain falling outside your window, a fire crackling nearby, and a coffee by your side. Pure and utter bliss!
For this week's ambience artwork I wanted to create an indoor scene that felt very earthy and cozy with a tiny hint of fantasy. I used a lot of greens and browns for this one, to bring that outside feel inside. I kept the details simple and clean, as not to cause any distractions or sensory overload. I kept the sounds quite simple, too. Mostly you'll hear the odd book page flipping, coffee being poured, movement, and books being moved around on a shelf. I added subtle crackling fire sounds as well, so you can imagine a little fireplace off-screen keeping this small space warm and cozy!
We weren't getting any rain for the longest time here, so I was worried I wouldn't be able to capture any 'rain on window' sounds. But a few days before my upload time, it poured and I was able to capture some good audio that I hope you'll enjoy!

One of the reasons why I like your channel is because it's not constructed with AI! All your ambience scenes really feel like the were made by a real person who pours love and passion into their work, instead of some company who does this only for money and clicks.
This comment made me happier than you know! I appreciate you. I've been struggling with companies taking my art and replicating it using AI generators. My channel has been struggling because they upload hundreds of ambiences across all their channels per month, so the keywords are flooded now and no one can find me amongst the AI storm. Even though I’ve not read the Hobbit books, this room with the circular window and design, it gives me Hobbit vibes, and I love it. Also yessss, the crackling fire sound is my favorite. What a comfy thing to chill out to after a day at the gym

Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans
. The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom.
If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. He will help us through the struggle, the stress, and anything we experience in the world. It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him through His power (not ourselves, we need Him to help us as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction).
He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place.
He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.
He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way.
Christ says in John 16:33: I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]

I honestly follow 10+ ambience channels. Only your channel and videos have stuck with me with how beautiful the match between the sounds and the image is. And the lovely descriptions too. I might or might have not written an entire 7-chapter story based on one of your older videos that I'd loop for 4-5+ hours sometimes.

Losing a pet is so hard. I'm really sorry for your loss. I understand this pain very well and can only offer my condolences and tell you that, though the pain never goes away, it does start to soften around the edges after a while. Autumn Cozy 🍂 you have created my daughter's dream space. She's always wanted a home with a space just like this for reading, drawing, writing or just taking a nap. The heavy rain serves as Mother Nature's lullaby, creating a sense of calm and serenity. The window screen is both decorative and inviting. The raindrops paint images within the curves and curls. The pillows and full and lush without being to overdone. Sort of worn in without being worn out. The bookcase serves as a treasure hunt for all of our favorite classic reads. (Reply with your favorite book(s)) From the ones you read as a child to those you return to every season. Here the troubles of the outside world, are washed away with each and every raindrop that slides down from the roof to the window to the grass below. Creating a mini creekbed amongst the trees towering in the backyard. The majestic Oak Tree welcomes the storm like a long, lost friend. 🌧️🌳📖💜

I'd fall asleep in this reading nook. It looks so cozy.
This is awesome. Just the right amount of rain, not too harsh. Many recordings lose the indoor feeling by having the rain sound too loud, as if you were out in it. Rain indoors sounds muffled and you can hear how it hits the windows and roof. The secondary "notes" of rain on pavement is spot-on, too. I suppose if you really did record it inside, you would get all of that appropriately. Visuals are so comfy and beautiful, too! Congrats on the good video and thank you!

Autumn, this is sooo calm and peaceful I visualize myself lying there on the soft bed cozying up with pillows enjoying the warmth and relaxation of rain hitting the window pane as I am reading a romantic love novel. I love the quiet lighting and that window reminds me of a little hobbit house 😆🤣 very endearing ☺️

This is very helpful, I’ve found my hearing is distorted in one of my ears along with tinnitus and it’s making life A-bit harder but this rain isn’t effecting it so it’s really calming and send me to sleep.

awww i want this in my future dream home ahahaha my partner likes to read long novels like LOTR and while I don't have the attention span to read long books I like to listen to him explain what happened in the chapters he read today while I paint or crochet 🥰 this would be a good nook for us to nerd out ahahaha

Oh man. I want to climb on that window seat, relax with a good book, or writing project and enjoy that steaming cup of coffee. I do love the ambience you have created here. The only thing that could make this more perfect is just a little rumble of thunder here and there. I have only been here a few minutes, but I already feel more relaxed.
