    Adding a heavy flywheel to the generator or the wheel might help smooth the energy transfer from pedal to generator. Bikes are normally designed to take upto 100kg of weight.

    Great video! You gave good instructions and listed your parts needed. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I have an old exercise bicycle that I want to use to charge a 12 volt battery bank.

    Greetings from the philippines friend, great video you got. May i just ask the length of the belt you connected in the wheel and motor.

    • @MousaSimpleProjects
      @MousaSimpleProjects  Год назад +4

      Thanks for your comment.
      The outside length is about 240 cm
      This code is written on my belt: AX-94 13X2400LI
      However you may need different belt size depends on the size of your frame, size of wheel, distance between motor and wheel, ... etc.
      This is why the belt is the last thing you have to buy !!

    Greetings from Indonesia, may I ask a question? What is the brand of the washing machine dynamo, what type is it, thank you

      Sorry, i'm not sure about the brand, but it is Japanese, maybe HITACHI or SANYO , the type of this motor is BLDC

    Interesting.
    Can you explain the need for the capacitor and how it is wired in the circuit?

    • @MousaSimpleProjects
      @MousaSimpleProjects  Год назад

      The capacitor used for reducing the lamp flickering due to changing the speed of pedaling. It is 6000uF 350V and it connected directly to the output of the bridge rectifier.

    can I charge the home inverter battery?

    • @MousaSimpleProjects
      @MousaSimpleProjects  Год назад +2

      Yes, but you need a SMPS charger because the generated voltage is DC not AC

    can i ask for the voltage of washing machine motor, capacitor and bridge rectifier that you use?

    • @MousaSimpleProjects
      @MousaSimpleProjects  Год назад +2

      The motor was taken from a 220V washing machine, For capacitor i used 6000uF 350V and bridge rectifier was SQL 50A 1200V (Three phase).

      Can I use po a 600uf 250VAC capacitor instead?since we can't find the one that you used

    • @MousaSimpleProjects
      @MousaSimpleProjects  Год назад +1

      Yes, you can use it even without capacitor, i used capacitor just to decrease the flickering of the LED lamps.

      Additional question since buying this type of motor here in our place is quite expensive, what other motor would you recommend for us to use?
