@@brianblank9921 Reading back over the description of this geocache, I noticed that there actually is no trail that goes to it. The terrain 2.5 in my opinion was accurate, I left out a lot of the canyon scrambling in this video since I was not recording. Thanks for watching!
Fantastic adventure, yup beautiful and dangerous are to walk, great you didn’t run into any snakes, as always another fantastic video and adventure thank you
You should definitely be out there looking for GOLD..!! Now you get a appreciation on how those old timers worked those areas to look 👀 for gold in those unbelievable conditions.. Cheers Famo59 🍻👍⛏🇦🇺
I guess I'm one of the 42 % who loves your channel. That was a fun video. The scale for me would have been off the charts. Thanks Klesh for another great fun video. 🤗😎😎😎
My brother is in Yuma right now..... He camps out west in winter , he rock hounds, and Gpld Pans AND just did his 700 Geocache Find.... Have you heard of CACHIN; CROW? That our Coin!!
Went to college down there in Tucson. If your into desert scenery it is beautiful. Used to hike out there a lot. Make sure you do search for that in the cool months. Nothing like picking a rock pile apart and facing a rattler or even a scorpion. The desert can be both beautiful and ugly. And try to wear boots, less painful all around. Peace.
Just a suggestion - even with coverage I try and download geocache data for off-line use. As you stated, whether you have coverage or not, the GPS function in your smartphone will work. I also carry gloves and a walking stick. I have reached for several geocaches to see at the last minute something I would rather not touch. Ugly spider, snake curled to the side, etc. So I use the stick to check the area and then gloves. If I'm after a geocache and the size is anything but small, I bring some stuff from the local Dollar Store to leave. Having put out 20-geocaches, I'm always appreciative of fellow geocachers who replace logs and add swag. While your statement you can just use a smartphone remember there is a degree of error. I don't remember if it's 20ft or something but there is an error so while your smartphone may put you directly on top of the geocache, it may not. I carry a small handheld GPS as well. They are relatively cheap and a number or intended just for geocaching. Another trick I do is set my vehicle location on my smartphone and GPS. If you are on a trail grabbing a bunch of geocaches that require you to move off trail, marking your vehicle location is a good safety net. I have a great sense of direction, my poor wife of 40-years gets lost leaving the restroom at a rest stop.
Beautiful scenery, thanks for showing Arizona, it’s been over 10 years since I’ve been there. We also geocache here in Europe, gets you to all the nice spots. Great vid!
Really enjoyed this video! I also love desert geocaching. The scenery you showed was amazing! That's the thing about geocaching... it brings you to wonderful places you'd never think of visiting. And the cacti looked menacing for sure. Ouch!
I found a few geo cashes here in kansas, one was an old flash bang grenade housing, i thought it was an actual booby trap and was kinda scared finding it........ also we were not geo cashing at that time, it was hid inside a tree stump. ... but lots of fun none the less. love your vids, been watching for a year or more ~ !
Hey Klesh, about not seeing any rounded gravels in that wash there is a good explanation for that. The sediment you were walking on is all eroded material weathering over time off the nearby peaks. It is called an alluvial fan and it is how mountains show their age. When the occasional cloud burst or heavy rain happens it causes arroyos or gullies to form in these fans but since these rains are infrequent there isn't significant tumbling action to smooth out the gravels like one would see in a river or stream that has constantly flowing water. This information tells a geologist a great deal about an area's hydrology. From what I gather from your video the area you were in has been mostly dry since the surrounding mountains were originally formed. This does not mean there isn't any gold bearing formations nearby. If there are quartz or evidence of mineralized deposits nearby then it is most likely heavy minerals are in the area in varying amounts most of which will be hidden from view but possibly exposed in some of those washes either washed down from a source above or exposed bedrock beneath. Wonderful views of Southern Arizona! Thank you for sharing!
That’s really cool man. We use to find these back when I was in scouts. We use to look it up before we would go on hikes and use the coordinates to find them.
Never been geocaching, but while looking for shed deer antlers here in Massachusetts, i saw a hole in a tree, so i checked it out, it was a waterproof container, so i signed the log saying that i was not geocaching but found one anyway. Haha.
I always look up any caches I see online, to check locations in case of being worthy of the bucket list. I noticed the code of this cache was pretty old too so we may look at a trip. Yes hibernating. No need to fear snakes, they’re more beneficial to the land than dangerous. They only are a danger if threatened, and yes during snake season one must be cautious when walking or picking up rocks from the ground.
Couldn't figure out if you had "Been to the Desert on a Horse with no Name" or if you were stuck on cactus, 'cause cactus stuck on you (Bandaid song). Middle of a blizzard here in New England.

Or is that extra as well :)? Please and thank you hope you’re doing well klesh prosperity and blessings you’re way! 🙏❤️
Yeah you can customize the amount and difficulty level, just go to the custom paydirt page on my site and you can play around with amounts and difficulty levels, and see the price for each one as you change it around.

Ever been attacked by a Cholla Cactus? I stepped on one and went right through my shoe. Hope you enjoy the video! One more to come from Arizona!
You should search up Cholla garden in Joshua Tree National Park - at least there's a trail to walk through all those cacti lol
I was a bit shocked that was a 2.5 until you explained there was an actual path that went to the location.
