Thank you for wonderful recipe. Loads of people asking me where I got it. Moist, flavoursome and so tasty. I have made a number of your Odlum recipes and they never fail. My first time making Xmas cake since I made them with my mother years ago (RIP). Brought back wonderful memories. You are a gem.

The Odlums recipe (with a couple tweaks...I soak the fruit overnight in brandy and orange peel) is the one I use every year and I adore it.

Personally I don't like cherries and it's awful when you get a slice of cake and there's a huge cherry in it.
