Her laughing it off and then coming back after getting yelled at like the guard was kidding with her or something is a level of delusional I hope I never become.
good for him👍they are not statues….they’r working… give some respect people 😡
Yeah such disrespectful and entitled people, they think they are just a tourist attraction, I think it's disrespectful to just stand next to them for pictures too, I can't believe anyone would even think that they can touch the reigns, who knows how the horse could react too.
He's not really working tho is he. He's sat on a horse all day. He's not protecting anyone.
@@jonathanbowen3640 the King's guard are active servicemen of the country. Although it seems like they're just sat there on a horse. They are in fact carrying out their duty which is to protect the Royal family.
@@hikaru9624 a. I don't want to royal family protected I want them abolished.
B. He's not that active he's sat on a horse.
C. Isn't that want to police and arguably special forces are for? (Protection) he doesn't even have the right equipment weaponry armour etc.
@@jonathanbowen3640 I was wondering when you'd turn up! Took your time didn't you? I'd try to argue my point but I've seen your other comments and frankly you're just not worth my time. I mean how can I argue with someone who said on another comment regarding the use of swords "on the royal family"? When I saw that I couldn't help but laugh! If you said that here in the UK you'd get nicked on the spot! But I support and want free speech in the UK so I didn't report your comment.
Bye wee kid :)
... there's always one idiot who cannot grasp the concept of boundaries.
Mega respect for the guard who backed her off twice.
JD Marr, thanks for giving the guards the credit for doing great work!!
I agree with the guards. Once arrested in front of all might cause them to
Pay more attention!
So glad she didn't get to take a picture with the horse...but I can't believe she went back a second time after being shouted out. Excellent job, Guard!
She didn't touch the "weins" haha the second time. We can't all be as bright as you, can we!
@@aflaz171 Talk about being bright, your response makes no sense. I didn't mention "reins" or "weins" in my post. BTW...making a typo doesn't mean a person is dim, it simply means they aren't perfect. Are you? I doubt it.
@@TisEyerish1😂😂👍🏼
Ignorant entitlement knows no bounds....
1st time she had to be yelled at....but why was she yelled at the second time ?
This guard is my new hero. That was awesome to watch.
He doesn’t even want her near the horse anymore. 😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂. She deserved
The horse was visibly disturbed by her behaviour.
😂🤣😅
The horse even gives her a look afterwards like “that didn’t work out the way you thought huh”
Andhe stuck his tongue out 😃
I hope this doesn’t make me sound terrible, but God bless those young women and men who have to put up with people who have no respect for what these young guards do!
Doesn't sound terrible at all. People need to understand they are working military personnel doing their duty and are not photo shoot card board cut outs. they deserve to be respected and not harassed.
@@lyntonradcliffe4274 erm not really, they stand In a hole on a horse. They aren't exactly cutting edge highly functional security. It's a tourist attraction nothing more.
What about the notion of that fella on the horse is part of an imagined power structure that doesn't really exist .
@@jonathanbowen3640
OK .. they might ''attract tourists'' but they aren't a ''tourist attraction''.
There is a difference and tourists need to understand that.
Take your photo but don't touch.
@@MrMousley I agree that they shouldn't touch. They shouldn't touch the tourist attraction. Lets be sensible, realistic and accurate. Lets not claim they are anything else.
LOVE that guard ❤
Screw the guard.
As someone who worked with the general public, he's my buddy. His approach to handling the visitors reminds me of Teddy Roosevelt's quote, "Speak softly but carry a big stick." Or in other words, bro is all calm and tolerant until the public crosses the line, and then, he has no problem telling them where to go.
These men are active duty military and some are even combat veterans. They live at the tower of London. They aren't freaking Disney characters for people to hang all over 🤬
Not all of them have combat experience and the Mounted Regiment is purely ceremonial.
Oh, and they don't live in the Tower of London either
🙄
@constantine the crabbit You sir/ madam/ gender whatever, need to lower your voice
@constantine the crabbit you are wrong. These men and women are active duty soldiers. They deserve respect
@@Flappatackle yes they are currently ceremonial but when this duty is completed they go to or return to combat duty. If you watched the coronation parade did you happen to notice the military units directly in front of and behind the King. They are the Blues and Royals and the Lifeguards. NOT DISNEY CHARACTERS
@constantine the crabbit TROLL !!
This guard is great. He has a commanding voice and doesn't take any nonsense or suffer fools.
I want to know how well his sword works, especially when used against tourists.
@@hb1338 They are real swords, and kept razor sharp. It would work extremely well if it was needed.
Where does that woman get off grabbing the reins?! And then she has the shamelessness to go right back?? Unbelievable some people.
She is probably from America and does what she wants. I've read the rudest tourists are Americans. I am American and I believe it.
Actually the rudest are from Europe...and we Brits as a nation are high up the league in the last 30 to 40 years.
That woman is a royal pain in the - - -! Hats off to the guard.
It’s a question of security. A mounted guard can’t let someone grab his reins, because it threatens control of his horse, his safety, the horse’s safety, the person’s safety, and performance of his duty. In a way it is like someone grabbing a policeman’s gun. I think that is why he needed to respond so harshly.
Treat the guards with respect, they are doing a job . Get your photo like the others but be respectful to the serviceman and horse . Awesome job sir
😊👏👏🙏
Thier job is to have photos taken of them. They are a joke.
It wouldn't kill the tourists to ask if they can pet the horse. It also wouldn't hurt if they said Thank You if allowed to pet the horse and after taking their pictures. These men and women and horses deserve the utmost respect but some people think they are just there for their amusement and entertainment and that is so far from the truth.
@@Helen-ml3pu I agree. However, I believe the guards are only allowed to talk unless it's absolutely necessary. They have to keep calm and focused on their duties. I think the most respectful and appropriate way to handle picture-taking is to observe any rules, signs and the situation. If the guard is pursuing a threat or seems uncomfortable with your approach, back off. If the time is calm, take a pic quickly, silently and at a distance. Don't touch anything or try to interact with the guards, unless it's an emergency. I think just leaving the guards in reasonable peace and quiet, not interfere with their duties are the most thanks we can give them. Because that's showing them decency and good judgment -- treating them as living beings, not objects. For me, I would also not want to take pictures of the individual guards, especially on-duty, because I think it's creepy, nosy and unfair, as they can't consent. And I wouldn't want it done to me. And I also wouldn't want to somehow interfere with their duties. Especially the poor horses who have to stand. I would take pictures of special events, tho, because that's more for show. Here, they're just ordinary guards, trying to do their duties.
Excellent diaphragm voice production.
He was using head voice.
Can you even imagine being a guard and dealing with this day in and day out?
Best job ever, having the right to yell at people for being stupid.
Even the horse s**t itself. This guard is my new favourite person.
Well done that guardsman. Proud of you ❤
Usual suspect. Barbie pose is a dead giveaway. 🤣
Good man! And then he just calmly looks ahead.
Buska show them disappearing into the crowd like scared weasels. That one had the arrogance to come straight back,
I know shameless still laughing she got what she deserved
Oh yes. She must have her photo, no matter what.
Deze toerist kwam toch al eerder voor een foto😮
Please don't insult Scared Weasels, they have feelings to.
@@Loes731 Yup. Beetje bizar dit.
Well done Guard.
He isn't done that well his job is to sit on a horse all day doing absolutely nothing whatsoever.
looks like they are living rent free in jonathan's head. He needs his binky.
Well done that man, these animals are not toys. She would be the first to make a claim if the horse reared up at her. Superb.
Even with a sign warning that the horse may bite or kick. You know a Karen has demanded to see the manager of the King's guard!
That horse is pi$$ing itself with laughter
It is so annoying and so predictable when someone who has already had her picture shot with the horse, comes back
and starts acting like they own the place.
A real guard. Respect
Thanks Buska, she got told and I wish it would happen more. You go man! ❤️🇬🇧
His mother must be very proud of him❤️Great job guard❣️
The horse is more disciplined than every kid in Chicago.
I tried to challenge you, but the Censorship Machine wouldn't allow it.
Fine. Enjoy it while it lasts. You'll see.
I am an American, but I love the King's guard . They do not put up with shit.
Sadly the American tourists cause the most problems...
@@22ergie Oh? Do you have the data proving that?
@Amy
if you search the comments and if it is enough to suffice, look for a comment by "toy man." He said all the guards he talked to said that the worst tourists were American.
@@amrehu88 As a matter of fact...
Did you swear an oath of secret fealty to King Charles?
She may not have understood English but I think she got the message. Great job!
She understood as she said 'Wow' that was loud' after the first time of being told not to hold the reins. Then second time of telling her to stand clear, she said 'Alright'.
@@anitawhite2669 yeah, she also said that scared me to death after wow.
That's why they shout! 😊
I think she understood English perfectly well and was just ignorant. She had already been up and had her photo taken, it just wasn’t enough for her.
No she understood English, watch her speak English as she complained about a soldier doing his job. The woman has no respect.
A well deserved command, i applaud at the queens gaurd.
People must realize that working horses deserve respect and given their space to do their job
I love how the horse looked at her lol
The woman that had the stupidity to touch the reins laughed and went right back to getting a photo! The public humiliation wasn’t enough to curb her ego. I would have been embarrassed to even be standing near her.
This is the type of woman you don’t want to be associated with. Believe me, I know!
If she apologized he might have let her come back for a photo.
Absolutely no chance - the horse needed a few moments to regain its composure.
No he wouldn't because if she tried to show off and something happened it
would mean his job, they are not suppose to be distracted.
No messsing with this guard credit to him these people have no respect or manners these guards are working they dont need all this hassal!!!!!😠😠❤❤❤❤🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴x
Put a sign opposite thee other, sorted. But brits ain't much good at that. Maybe the shouting is the highlight of there day. Di you think shouting aggressively is the answer?
They are not just the guards. Those are accomplished veterans too. (Edit correction: they are active military not veterans) Too many people make fun of them when they deserve respect.
The Horse Guard are all active duty military.
@@JWRogersPS I stand corrected! Thank you!
😂he not playing
He is though isn't he. He's sat on a horse all day in a silly costume. The definition of play.
None of the Royal guards play around.
That takes a lot of discipline to what he does. 👏
As for the man who said “what an idiot” one can only cringe.
He may mean the women, we shall never know.
@@PaulBriden more than likely meant the woman and not the Guard.
Good for the Guard. Doesn’t want her even near his horse.! Great job!
The fact that this proves they do care about the horses after shouting realising the horse was gonna spook ❤
Some years ago I was in Britain. One evening, the couple I stayed with took me to a pub where we met a friend who was a member of the Grenadier Guards. His current assignment was as a ceremonial guard at The Tower of London. I asked him who were the best and worst tourists. He replied, "Canadians and Japanese are best. They are polite, quiet and respectful. The worst by far are Americans. Most of them are rude, loud, mouthy, arrogant and disrespectful." Over the next few days I took in some attractions in London and asked the guards at several museums as well as a guide on the HMS Belfast the same question. They ALL told me that American tourists were the worst.
The horse thanks him for taking care of it.
Americans by far are the worst facts
That is absolutely not true about Americans as these videos clearly prove.
And where are you from, toyman?
@@Bacchusmbt….hopefully not America because that would be embarrassing to listen to.
Brilliant
Respect to the man who said "what an idiot"
Regardless if you know English or not when you see a guard shouting at you in no way means does that mean return to what you were doing that caused the uproar.
Even the horse felt the need to have a gander at the handsy cow.
Horse turns head: nyah ha ha
That poor horse is probably saying how do you think I feel with you sitting on my back all day?
No Messing with this guard !!
Excellent response from the guard! Swift and to the point, he wasn't going to take any nonsense from anyone.
He wasn't being an idiot he was doing his job he was trained to do
I thought he meant the woman was an idiot
@@CC-zf4yv oh maybe you're right LOL
She had already touched the reins, altering the horse’s behavior. The horse was confused about the message being sent, and she is the one who did so, hence, she needed to steer clear of the horse. Right on the noble guard.
My theory is that many tourists do not comprehend that the guards are serious, I cannot think of another reason why this woman would return….
They probably think they are there so the tourists can get some cool pictures, wouldn't surprise me.
Brainless and self entitled is probably the reason.
...She is a woman! What did you expect?
Guard has every right to yell 🇦🇺🐨👍🏻
the best yell ever for stubborn people like her
Good for him. He and the horse are living beings and the horse could have spooked by the people starting to crowd it.
Who cares about the horse? I don't. I don't care about the robot sat on top either.
Pretty sure the horse wouldn't spook so easily as they are well trained (wouldn't be surprised if breeding has it's part to play) but a valid point all the same. Good on that Guard!
@@jonathanbowen3640 How cruel of you, to not care abut the horse or its rider. What a cold person you are.
@@hikaru9624 Even if the horse is well-trained and wouldn't spook, it is dangerous for a clueless tourist to hold the reins. If the horse does spook, the reins are the rider's control tool -- so it is dangerous to interfere with the rider's controls. It is a huge safety issue for the guard and the public standing in front of the horse.
@@cathynewyork7918 oh I'm well aware it's incredibly stupid to grab hold of the reins. Even kids know not to grab the reins of someone else's horse.
He is absolutely BRILLIANT!!!
By allowing tourist's to take photo's people get comfortable and think its just for show. I would never take photo's of police or military personnel, just for show, unless it was in a parade.

Well done to that guard for shouting. And that woman just laughed and thought it was funny. Wish id have been there id have give her a piece of my mind. People never fail to amaze me 😤😤
I'm glad he doesn't take any crap.
Silly woman, she'll know better next time.
She must have held the reins purposefully, because the Guard would not have told her to stand clear otherwise. I think some Guards develope an Instinct. You don't need to know English to understand why he shouted.🐎🐎☮️
No second chances for you girlie- “stand clear!” 💪😎👍

The Guard just unleashed his fury on her. She is thirsty for attention & she got it in the most humiliating way. Kudos to the Guard.👌

This is my favourite guard.
She was jeopardizing the guard, the horse, and other bystanders...you can tell the horse was upset too. Must have been one of my fellow Americans. 😉
Even the parents standing close with their baby for photos...wth there is a warning sign stating the horses may bite or kick. 🙄

Reins are like a magnet to these crazy people
Nice one Guard
Молодец охранник ,вот только так и надо с ними обращатся , спасибо ,что любишь и бережешь своего друга красавца, спасибо ,, умница , хорошо несешь свою службу,
I think it’s long past the time that even a rope barrier around horse and rider is put in place. I’m appalled to see the amount of mauling these horses have to put up with. One video showed a man poking the horse’s nostrils! 😡
If tourists can’t give the guards and horses the respect they deserve they should not be allowed so close. They could still take photos but keep some distance. Would they be allowed to show such inconsideration in their own country?
Agreed, there should be a rope barrier on either side of the horse, allowing them room to move forward if needed. And how many pictures did Miss striped blouse need?
They don't deserve any respect. Neither do the lizard royals.
I think it's the occasion to say that an enormous majority of peoples do like the existence of Royal Horse Guards ! And we (with such professional horse-guard), can be sure of the high level of Buckingham Palace security. Long life to the Horse Guards of his Majesty Charles III.
The kings guard reduced to a tourist attraction
If anyone is the idiot, it's the gal that grabbed the reins... NOT the guard sitting on the horse.
No he's the idiot for sitting on a horse all day long.
Agreed. Even children know not to grab the reins of someone else's horse.
These soldiers are not there for your amusement!!!
I think angry shouting is a universal language all but the most wilfully obtuse understand.

Always love how the horse is unfased when the guard shouts out.
Good training
The sword needs to be put into use.
On the royal family.
Why don't they have a sign up on the wall saying don't touch the horses or reins, just to make it very clear to those who don't have the common sense to keep their hands to themselves?
Because she can't read
