  • Here is a little update of the printer, the arms finally move, I just have to get calibration working properly.

    This looks really good. I’d love to know more about how you’re controlling it on the electronics side, and how you’re modeling the movement. I love the tenacity on this project. Well done.

    Looks great! I want to make a printer that can print on random surfaces, so something with this kind of reach would be great.
    Could you do a video of the overall design and the cost to make something like this? Or link to another video that you used to learn about all this stuff.

    Good work! Which CAD tool did you use to design the arm? I saw the design on thingiverse. Can you also post the CAD files in addition to the STL files? Thanks.

      You can see in some of his other videos that he uses Fusion360 for the design.

      duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/ConfiguringRepRapFirmwareSCARAPrinter has a couple sample files for scara bots of this style.
