Thank you for posting this! It's the only one I found for the 3.5! I'm seriously questioning the engineering geniuses who thought that this design was a good idea 🤣
Yes, you are correct there was only 1 before you. Thank you. wish I had seen this before I spent 6 hours trying to get the manifold off, what a Bitch!!! I don't drink but thought I would start. finally after using a mirror found there are bolts in the back, go figure. My Santa Fe has right at 158K on it and I have been replacing parts for the last 2 years, it's falling apart. I've had to learn to do a lot of the work my self and research AND RUclips has helped tremendously!! IF ANYONE HAS ANY QUESTIONS I CAN HELP WITH LET ME KNOW AND I WILL DO MY BEST. another note: after my middle Catalytic Converter went it should down my transmission WHICH I DID NOT FIX BUT I DID HAVE TO BORROW MONEY. it would not change gears on it's own THEN AFTER 3 WEEKS OF READING AND READING I found this wonderful article written by i assume a mechanic AND HE WENT INTO GREAT DETAIL and in a nut shell he said this....when the Catalytic goes with one, it is a safety feature that keeps the car from shifting and all I needed to do was disconnect the negative battery cable then re-connect of course and that would reset it....DID NOT WORK...what did happen is this....I with out knowing left the back light on in the car and when I went out a few days later it was DEAD not a whimper...so got out the cables, got a jump...ALL FIXED! By the way, I'm a woman, 57 years old, bad back and working on my car breaks my nails and it's not very attractive BUT I have to keep my car going if there is no money. Good luck to all!
thanks man been looking for days and it's a split coil system they supply power two 2 separate cylinders across the motor. works similar to a coil pack
FRED BUNDY it must still be bolted down somewhere. just wiggle it a bit to see where it is still held down. just be careful not to push on the throttle body or stick anything inside of it.
One thing I learned is not to ever buy Hyundai!Wtf so much bs just to change the spark plugs!Shop wanna charge my sister $600 to change her spark plugs. Hyundai is garbage to me.
Advice to everyone Hyundai is a pieces of shit.Look cool brand new but they don't last long and the shit you gotta go through just to change spark plugs are ridiculous. GARBAGE CARS

I got all the bolts out but I'm trying not to inflight everything but the big metal piece isn't coming up

did you replace manifold gasket?
I did on mine but you probably don't have to depending on how bad it is. They recommend doing it. It is like $5 at autozone.

Any FWD 6 Cylinder car is usually setup like this. I usually buy 4 Cylinder cars for this reason... ease of maintenance. 😀

You could have taken a little more time and showed it from the beginning. Poor.
