Sintra is also my dream fragrance 💙 I was searching for the best marshmallow perfume and it just happened to be a coincidence that this beautiful perfume is called Sintra. I visited Sintra in 2019, it was a beautiful spring day, perfect weather, I wore a pretty dress, and I felt like I was in a fairytale exploring the beautiful colourful palaces. I was admiring the beautiful tiles that Portugal is famous for, and everytime I look at the bottle I remember that perfect day. I feel like this perfume was made just for me 😊

So I just purchased this scent and it’s definitely beautiful. The opening smells like roasted Green Chile here in September ( I’m from New Mexico ) definitely is a distinctive smell but drys down beautiful. Love ur videos 💖

I agree they are totally different and I personally prefer Princess over Love, it last longer than love on my skin I get 7/8 hours with Princess 🥰

It's so funny you did this video. I just got my bottle of caramel overdose by be layered yesterday and it smells exactly like love don't be shy.
I have my decant spray of Sintra I'm not crazy about the sharp green note, but it has its day that I wear it! It is definitely a love or hate. I'd suggest getting a sample of it first.
I like them both, but I prefer Love because the petitgrain and neroli are very sharpe together. I don't care for neroli and I do not like petitgrain, but Sintra is done so well that I can handle the two at the top. I find Love smoother and much more easier to wear.

Kilian love don’t be shy dupes- the best I’ve tried so far is Instanbul from Unique’e Luxury. It’s actually 100% the same as the old formulation of love don’t be shy

Paulina- The word you were searching for when you were describing citrus that hadn't matured was that it hadn't ripened yet. Oranges, lemons, etc. are green when they are not yet ripe.

This was literally right on time lol! I just got a sample of Love Don’t be Shy from Royalty Scents and me and my daughter fell in love at first sniff! Im guessing it’s the original formulation because the sample is a rich red not the salmon like colored juice I’m seeing in the white bottles. My only gripe is that it doesn’t seem to last how I would like and I don’t want to pay $250+ for something that doesn’t last….just doesn’t seem right lol! So I will probably only get samples and purchase the full bottle in a dupe or inspired scent.
I got a decant of Love also and it doesn't last on me either. It might be similar to Baccarat Rouge where some people can't smell it on themselves but others can? I love Baccarat Rouge so much though that I will buy a bottle directly from Francis Kurkdjian because it's a little less expensive than buying at a department store. As for Love, I am going to try Be Layered Caramel Overdose because that seems to be the best dupe.
@@akajulz I heard Be Layered is a great alternative! Also I got wind that Oakcha “Sweet Addict” is a good alternative to Love Don’t be Shy also for $39. I really like Baccarat also I don’t have a full bottle, but I do have decants. I also like to wear Samy Andraus “Red Sapphire” it’s a very nice dupe of 540(I get a lot of compliments when I wear it). A lot of Samy’s fragrances are really nice and expensive smelling to me, but are underrated
I got a decant from Royaltyscemts and a separate sample from Sephora.. and the Sephora sample isn’t as dark and performs better. Go figure.

I bought Love Don’t Be Shy and it smells like grapes to me 😬🤷🏼♀️ I want to love it, but I just don’t. I much prefer Princess.
I tried my sample yesterday of LDBS and yes! I feel the same, it smells like grapes or bubbalicious grape gum so I just ordered a sample of Sintra! I usually like green notes so I hope Sintra works out so that I can get the full bottle!
Mancera Velvet Vanilla smells very similar to Love Don't Be Shy and in my opinion it lasts longer. It's not a cheaper dupe, but it's cheaper than the original 🤷♀️

I smell a similarity but not an exact dupe, House of Sillage Benevolence smells similar to Love don’t be shy also
@@Elle9228000 don’t forget to mention tht benevolence doesn’t last….1 hour max…..velvet vanilla isn’t as sweet as love don’t be shy…VV smells like birthday cake with a tiny hint of grape…LDBS smells like straight up artificial grape juice and marshmallow…sickly sweet and cloying…will make u throw up in the summer heat tbh. I prefer VV…it’s beast mode in performance and more rounded
