I feel cheated out of $1200 for a lash course that barely even touched base on HALF of what you just explained. Going on a year of lashing and still struggling with retention no matter what I do…humidity/temp is good with my glue, placement is correct, I shake my glue and clean the tip everytime, I’ve tried primer and tried without primer, I’ve tried affordable brands and luxury brands, I’ve tried distilled water, nanomists, lashing from above/side/bottom- my sets look amazing when I finish but I can barely get a week out of my retention…or some girls have bomb retention and others are struggling after one night. It’s made me not even want to lash anymore at this point, even tho I’ve put so many hours and heart into what I do. Any tips are well appreciated😔
Wow I am so sorry to hear this!! This breaks my heart - Please please shoot me a DM on Instagram @lostartistrylash I would love to chat with you about all of this. Please DM I want to help!!
I love the superbonder, being very new to the aesthetic industry and an avid sports enthuisist I have not had much luck with my own lashes and have been very discouraged which makes it a hard sell when you can't wear lashes that you are trying to promote. LOVE this option and can't wait to try it out on myself! You'll be seeing me take your courses in the near future.
@@LostArtistryLash I'll take them all lol! I was trained in the height of the pandemic and I think that's why the training wasn't so great. I wasn't taught 90% of the things I've learned just from your RUclips vids! I feel like I could be so much better at my art if had proper training. So I'm excited to be able to do it someday, hopefully soon! 🙏 And I know I'm not the only one who feels so lucky to have you be so generous with these valuable videos.
@@sunnyaina314 Wow Sunny I am absolutely over the moon delighted that you've been learning from our RUclips Channel - That's my #1 goal! I can't wait to be able to teach you - Sending hugs!! 😊
Aw you bet lovely! It can definitely be nerve wracking but we are so excited to hear what you think and always here to answer any questions. We have a glue chart on our website so you can find which glue works best for you and your lash room :)
I have an In-person training coming up in Toronto Ontario Canada September 17th - I plan on taking my trainings more wide spread in the near future - Here's a link to all of my online trainings though, most people prefer online as the information is limitless and much more affordable! courses.lostartistrylash.com/ If you'd like to chat further dm me on insta @lostartistrylash!
In the online training, do you actually see us working? I really appreciate the tips and I could definitely use help with retention. But of course, it’s one thing for us to watch you do it and another for you to see us and what we might be doing wrong. Thank you!!
Hey there! Great question ❤ Personally, I like to lash in layers when a client has more than 3 layers, I have a different map for each layer or the clients natural lashes are tougher to isolate. We teach all about how and when to lash in layers in our Online Advanced Texture course :) This course teaches everything there is to know about styling to become a master lash artist! Not only that but it also comes with a handheld manual, exclusive videos and quizzes and 10% off Lost Artistry products for life! Ill send you the link to check it out and if you have any questions please let me know 💕 Chat soon! lostartistrylash.com/products/advanced-texture
I would suggest Sensit-Eyes or Cyano-Free! Both adhesive have a slower cure time which gives you plenty of wiggle room for making adjustments to placement and direction when placing the lash
Do you have any recommendations for colder times of year? I have at least a 2-21/2 week retention rate in the summer (would love to get three) but as soon as the cold hits my retention is terrible. Any advice for this is greatly appreciated. Also thank you for this information. I live in a pretty dry climate but the seasons are harsh. Help! 🙏🏻
I’ve seen so many conflicting advice about primer, with big suppliers claiming that primer dehydrates the lashes on those who do not have oily lashes causing weaker bonds. Whereas my trainer says this isn’t true and to use primer for all clients. I’m so confused! Appreciate any advice :)
I don’t think I say thank you enough , so THANK YOU you’re literally my favorite person ever as an Algerian girl struggling to find helpful sources
Aw you are SO welcome!! Thank you so much for supporting us and watching also. We appreciate you 😍😍

do you not use a hydro mister just binder and a fan?
I use it all! I love my Nano mister, as well as my fan and superbonder!! ❤️
In what order do you use them?
In what cases we do the layer techniques? I dont get it the cases which need layer and the ones who are simply isolated?
