This was super helpful! Ive been lashing for 5 years specializing in mega volume & the expectation of lashing 100% of the natural lashes can be really stressful for me when dealing with the clients who have endless layers of lashes. I put a ton of pressure on myself to lash all of the lashes in the same amount of time on a client who has 1-2 layers of lashes - unrealistic! So the tip of focusing on bottom and top layer is something i'm going to focus on. Thank you for this!
Oh man, it’s seriously so motivating to read messages like this! I can’t thank you enough for sharing this with me ♥️♥️ so glad it reached you well! Hope your new tips work great in your business love! Keep me posted! Oxo
Great video! I started lashing the bottom layer first a few weeks ago and I dont think I'll go back to my old approach. It's such a good tip!... I'm going to try removing grown out lashes as I go to improve my speed. Thanks!
I watched you and I liked your technique when applying lashes. It's very difficult to stick to real lashes and separate the real eyelashes especially the small and sparse eyelashes
Hey there Joann! Thanks for the kind comment - I know what you mean I too have been there!! I would recommend taking a look at some of our isolation videos - These could be super helpful as they really go deep into getting those little invisible lashes! ruclips.net/video/mI_7N_MrUV4/видео.html + ruclips.net/video/9eyNTEiftXQ/видео.html + ruclips.net/video/9jNQjZToUsM/видео.html
Thank you for your helpful tips! Definitely gonna try removing out growns as I go instead of at the beginning of service! And lashing the bottom layer first yess was thinking of this as I working on clients earlier lol and then this video popped up thank you 🤍✨✨
Hey Bianca! Thanks for the lovely comment - You will have to update me on how you found trying these new steps out during services!!❣Glad you are enjoying the content. x
I have been doing this for 2 weeks and isolating is so frustrating. How fast should I be? After watching your videos I am starting to really understand tweezers and how to use them. I’m having the hardest time lashing all of their lashes with the 2 hr we have to get it done. We are a brand new studio.. how do we express to the client we are all new and we are learning tgg he at if this 1st appointment i may need them to come in again so I can get them full. Primer helps separate? The small lashes that are in between the nice lashes are so hard to separate. Thank you for your videos!! How do you set up your lashes when you do not know the client yet to help with time is 12 a good start when trying to judge what length to start with? I’m realizing I need a variety of lengths. It’s frustrating knowing your clients idea of how long they want.. can you show how to isolate with tape we can’t use gel pads. How do u insure u do not take out other extensions or natural lashes with take? Thank you!!!
2 weeks and already working in a salon? 😳 thats not smart..you can not keep clients 4 hours or more in a salon.I recommrnd you to practice a lot about 6 months first at home
I’ve had a hard time getting new models in 😢 not very many people want to come in due to them having their lash artist already but I’m not giving up. I’m still practicing on paper, sponges, mannequin, and the models that do come in.
I am currently doing discounted sets as I am still in my modeling phase. I haven’t gotten up to speed and I still struggle a little with retention. Not all my sets last over 4 wks but I am working on getting up to speed and on retention.
Great video! I do ALL of those things and I still feel like I'm too slow. I've been lashing professionally for about 2 years and now I'm noticing what I believe to be an allergy to the glue fumes myself as a lash artist! Just being around them constantly is affecting my eyes and my sinuses and don't know what to do. I dont have lash extensions myself nor have i ever and yet my eyes are itchy and lids are slightly red and swollen,, now my natural lashes are about 50% gone from over-shedding due to inflammation. If this is a topic you're familiar with can you make a video about where you place your glue drop, do you wear any eye protection or have a fan or anti-allergy gel around? Does that stuff even work? Any suggestions?
Have you tried their anti-allergy gel? You place it beside the client & glue. It attracts the fumes. If you are using a high fume glue that might be your issue as well. Maybe also try not using a glue ring, if you are. Glue rings put the glue and fumes closer to you and your client. Side note, you may need to go to a slower glue if you change from a glue ring to placing your glue dot beside you because it's not as close to the lashes as it was. Last tip would be not to leave your old glue dots sitting out. They may not be good after 20 min, but they are still letting off fumes. Definitely try their anti-allergy gel tho. It's great for pulling those fumes away!
@@missparadise879 thank you so much! Yes I have tried the anti allergy gel but it didn't help unfortunately, I dont think it removes ALL of the fumes, I dont use a glue ring and I do wet all my old glue dots then right away put them in a covered garbage also, I ended up using a pair of safety glasses that are meant for fumes as it has sortof a seal around on all sides and thats actually been what helped me. Now I have marks on my face from them but its what I have to do 🙄 thanks for the suggestions, I just thought I'd share what helped
me too... i think it´s normal because you want your set to get perfect. My mentor always tell me to practice again and again, the more you practice and find your own routine the better and faster you will get. 🥰
Sucks that such an informative video would have any type of negative comment. Would have been nice if you stopped at, love all the info, the rest is irrelevant and I didn’t even notice her doing that because I do the same thing! Thanks for the video, love all the versatility in styles that you all do!

Thank you for all your videos!! I also take about 2-3 hours for a lash set, whether refill or full set.
Thanks for the comment Issara! x we all work at our won pace 😍

Aweh yay thanks for the love! 💖
I’ve been lashing for a 1 Year. It still take me 4hrs to complete a full set.
This is completely normal - everyone has their own pace and that’s perfectly okay!! ❤️
Bondage is my favourite as a beginner ❤️
Love to hear it!!! x ❤
Thanks for great tips
Thanks for your comment Soyeon! 😊
Cyano was great! It's the only one I've tried from LA but it was great.
Great tips! Thanks. How do you feel about premade fans for fills or whenever? I usually make them in the spot but it’s taking me forever. 😅
I am 100% all for pre-mades. I use both handmade and pre-fans!!!
Could you please talk about the amount of glue for good and clean retention 😊
Depending on the type of lash and length of stem, a standard 1-3mm dip will give great retention!! x

What size did you use? And thickness?, I love that natural look!
Here's the full tutorial love! ruclips.net/video/3-4Fce_kyvQ/видео.html
What tape do you use on the top lashes to get to the bottom lashes?
Lost Artistry Micropore Tape! x
What chair or bed do I need to set up
Our bed in this video is from Cosmoprof! Sadly it is discontinued, but I am sure Amazon as similar beds. I would suggest reading reviews
I’m a newbie. I’ve been lashing since mid January and still struggle with increasing my speed but up until now, my retention has been sort of good.
If your retention is good, thats amazing
I’ve had a hard time getting new models in 😢 not very many people want to come in due to them having their lash artist already but I’m not giving up. I’m still practicing on paper, sponges, mannequin, and the models that do come in.
Have you tried offering free or discounted sets? I always find this helps to get models in as a little incentive
I am currently doing discounted sets as I am still in my modeling phase. I haven’t gotten up to speed and I still struggle a little with retention. Not all my sets last over 4 wks but I am working on getting up to speed and on retention.
It sounds like you are killing it for a newbie!!!
I’ve lashed 2 people so far, it takes me 4 hours to complete a set but I’ve been using .5 glue. Going to try bondage and lash in layers
I think Bondage will be great! You will have to let us know how it goes
What glue do you use for sensitive, and people with glue allergies?
Is there a video that shows how to lash in layers??
