If you listen to all of these in order, it’s like a story. Everything Patrice brings up in the beginning comes back around in the end, and the foreshadowing of his retirement and dying.. Im glad these exist, Patrice was the fucking king.

After just spending an hour or so hanging out with him, it seemed like Warren really felt the loss. A classy guy and all around mensch. Love Warren Haynes on this. He and Patrice really seem to hit it off. Haynes talks a bit about him the next time he comes on O&A. Also, River's Gonna Rise - what a killer song. I heard the album version afterwards, but this version really hits it for me.

Listening to these, I find myself saying, on a daily basis, boy would Patrice be a good one to hear a take on this, that or the other these days. The guy was just an all around funny dude, with excellent takes on so many things. The world never really got a chance to learn his true genius because of the bridges he burned. What a shame

the reason why at the end this big guys allowed Patrice to sing to them playing. Is because Patrice kept it real and asked the real question. They smelled him. and he didn't stink. Patrice oneal big respect bro. idk how many times I replayed all of this videos from 1 to last. I always laugh and enjoyed as if it was the first time i ever heard it

Patrice was such a dynamic thinker. Listening to this he was so ahead about fake news, not believing what the government tells us. We need Patrice now more than ever unfortunately :( As a black man Patrice had the logic to see past BS, making his arguments even more compelling and honest. He was always right about everything. He could read the future even about his own mortality. RIP Patrice, we all love and miss you big pimp. Funniest man ever.

+Jeremiah Aguilar i discovered these years ago and have never committed to listening to them in chronological order for that exact reason. I'll listen to like 5 in a row or something over a few days at a time in the 70s and then maybe skip to like the 20s and then the 100s but never front to back always just always random chunks of it. Don't want to see the progression at the end :(

Damn, that is EXACTLY what I do with these Patrice clips. I just can't bear to hear them all in order...at least past the 50-60 range. His message of "righteousness" on the Unmasked interview with Ronnie B. changed me in so many ways. This man had so much to share with anyone willing to listen and I'm thankful for his hours of content with O&A and those that have kept these shows alive with the work they put in uploading this gold. So many events and incidents over the years have made me wonder what the big man would have to say about them and I never missed his perspective more than in those moments. RIP Patrice
