The helmets with the black uniforms are incredible.

great to see Sam Laporta without any brace or bandage on his leg. Looking forward to seeing him fully healthy in his 2 year in the NFL All Tight End records are in jeopardy with him at 100%

I never liked those jerseys. The blue is off, too light, kinda purplish. It was like a baby blue, not a Honolulu blue.

These Uniforms are a lot of fire and they are way better than last season because I hated those uniforms Vs Raiders and Vikings.

If they would have kept last year's alternate helmet to go with those uniforms, it would have been a lot better. Can't stand how much the blacks look like Carolina, but ANYTHING is better than the all-grays alternate from last year.

Never a fan of the black uniforms, but I am willing to concede that since A) They got the primary home and away uniforms correct and B) The black uniforms weren't meant for old timers like me anyway

The black jerseys didn't work in the early 2000s and I don't see why they would bring them back, but.... I do like the return of the old blocky font for the numbers.

Those black uniforms are easily the best ones.
The Home and Away jerseys are great, but the Black jersey makes the blue look teal. It looks like a totally different color than the blue on the other jerseys. Maybe it is, though I do remember the Millen black made the blue look teal also. Well, if that's what they want.....
The font really looks like it’s from that era for sure, a little basic for my liking. I actually would’ve loved to see them put down Detroit instead of Lions for the black uniform, that would’ve made it stand out a little more.

I've heard many compliments on our uniforms from non-Detroiters through the years.... I'm SO glad the black unis aren't the new regulars, almost had to go root for Carolina, were they ripped them off from!

The Lions had a dynasty in the blue & gray in the 50s, and just went 14-5 in those unis last year, 22-7 over the last 29, so superstition doesn't have credibility either. By that, you must REALLY hate the black, we were hideous in that color...
Love that you endured the tough years to be rewarded in the current turnaround, faithfulness is a beautiful thing. At 57 in a few days, I've fought off the Detroit Whine-ons fair-weather bandwagon jumpers for years myself. So whether in the classy, iconic blue, or the trendy-ripoff-black, it should be a great thing again to be a Lions fan this year, enjoy!

Never cared for the Lions Honolulu blue Bubbles silhouette, especially since the two newer "Cats" mascot NFL teams got theirs MUCH closer to how they look IRL. (Panthers & Jaguars)

I really think the Lions could’ve done better with these uniforms, leaves a lot to be desired with the number font that resembles the pre-Matthew Stafford era, it’s just too basic in my opinion. They’re okay to me, one of those scenarios where could be better could be worse. I think the Detroit should’ve been put on the black uniforms and Lions would be fine for both road and away.

The blue helmets is what stole the show not the black jerseys. For that I give them props but everything else is a step back to a certain extent. The stripes are cool but the numbers are too old school for me.
