- Testing the Ryobi P750 18V Hybrid Transfer Pump. We plan to dig a shallow irrigation well and have a hand pump with a garden spicket and use the pump to pump the water to the garden. There is no power available. Garden is 100' X 150' with a path in the middle. There is about 16 100' rows on each side. from the well we will run a 75' to reach the furthest rows then a 100' soaker.
This is testing the transfer pumps ability to push water through 75' of lead hose and 100' of soaker hose as well as how how long it takes to transfer 40 gallons.
I love mine. I use it for emptying my jacuzzi
Nice tests!
Nice. Did you manually do this for every row? How did it all work out?
We didn't do every row. We were testing to see how well it would work. We are thinking about drilling an irrigation well that could be used with this set up.
Wow, noise link nuclear attack ;)
Nice. How long do you think the 18v will run
There are some variables to consider with that question. I was using a fully charged 4Ah battery and when I finished testing it still had 3 of 4 battery indicator LEDs lit. So 30 minutes of transfer used between 25 and 50 % of the battery charge. My best guess is I would be able to get at least two more 40 gallon transfers.
can i have links to everything you used please
Sure

Is it safe for the pump to run dry?
No it is not safe to run the pump dry. By safe I mean to the equipment. I have not tested that theory but if Ryobi was to give me one to run dry for testing I would definitely do it!
I was testing this for personal reasons and made the video because I didn't see what I was looking for before buying it.
super tired film
