This is bliss and a perfect song for reminding our hearts and souls as to why Freddie is forever a legend. Catch you on the other side, Freddie my friend. That crowd was about 150,000 in Hyde Park that day so to have it as quiet as it was speaks volumes to the way that Freddie could hold and manage a crowd without even being out in front.

This Hyde Park concert was a free concert the band put on for their fans. 100,000 people turned up, so when Freddie entreated the crowd “You’ve got to listen to this one”, it worked. By the end you could hear a pin drop. Freddie, his voice and his piano are just sublime. You need to watch White Queen live at The Odeon Hammersmith 1975. It is also sublime

Tbh, I prefer the studio version when you get to hear Freddie overdub himself several times for the harmonies! But the live version still retains the beauty. Bravo! Once again, a giant reminder that their live performances are a huge testament to their unquestionable pure talent. There was nothing Freddie couldn't sing, his piano skills would impress even the likes of Mozart and Beethoven! They shattered every mold, envelope, etc. Their power over crowds and their music had an effect on the soul nothing short of pure magic, they were and still are wizards!!

Love Of My Life also is said to be about David Minns by their manager at the time (even though there is very common misconception about the song being for Mary), Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy was also for David. Lily of the valley is another amazing one but it is very short so often heard together with two other songs because they were recorded on the album to follow each other seemless without stopping. Tenement Funster (sung by Roger), Flick of the wrist, and Lily of the valley. It's a lyric video since I don't believe they ever sang lily of the valley live. As others have stated, the studio version is remarkable. Freddie did all the vocals himself, multiple tracks of himself for ridiculous harmonies.
Elvis "I'll Remember You", is what that little change of the song sounds like. I don't know how Freddie would have access to that little riff. They were out at the same time ??
