- I haven't done anything with this reel in a year, so why not make a new digitization of it now? As you can see, there's new damage presented on the reel, which occurred after I lent it to someone a while ago. Now the film has a crease in it during the leader and a bit of the intro, and there's some sprocket damage towards the end.
R.I.P. Willam Hanna & Joseph Barbera.
Thanks for this dude
Professor Sinister look like a more cartoonish version of the Fantastic Four villian Professor Gamma who would transform into Gamma Ray.
Very good job fellows!! Congratulations.

Costello kicks Butt in this episode and thanks to Abbott giving him Strength from his electro energy gun
too bad this HB cartoon is still not released on dvd or bluray(((
makes sense. would barely be a profit for warner if even lol.
@@TheProjectionistsVault profit is nothing, history of animation is everything!!
try telling that to warner lol. they rerelease shows if they're a surefire ticket seller, *then* they care about history and yadda ya. this extends beyond animation too.
@@TheProjectionistsVault this is you should tell this to warner, not me.
There were 156 shorts *each* of Laurel/Hardy & Abbott/Costello. Now that MeTV has the MeTV Toons channel, these ought to be digitized and run on it.
This is the most action packed episode of a Hanna Barbera Cartoon I’ve ever seen
This got nice color
I guess for Eastman standards it isn't half bad. The colors here aren't natural however. I projected this with a color correction lens and I corrected the colors a little digitally.
what a strange idea for a cartoon lol
I'd say this is relatively tame compared to other ideas I've heard.
Could the same be said about hanna- Barbara's laurel and hardy?
Lmao
Thanks for posting and sharing this! Would you happen to have any more Abbott & Costello cartoons? I've been searching for these since 1988. still need english audio for 55 out of 156.
I only have this one. I also have one of the Laurel and Hardy cartoons on 16mm as well. Many of these are sold on ebay a fair bit, so happy hunting I guess :/
