  • Being unshakeable is one of the most confident and attractive approaches to life and dating, as it means we are grounded in our self worth and value and find that internally, rather than based on how someone else is treating us.

I have heard it said from a Vietnamese monk " you must love in such a way that the person you love feels free" ❣️

Like that book from the 70s...I'm Ok, You're Ok. Too many people seek to fix, alter, or control other people, which is very problematic for relationships of any kind -from romantic to political. Nice work.

I agree with this, my only comment is that masculine men aren’t perfect either. If a woman isn’t showing up the way she would like, steps away, creates distance, that’s not supposed to effect us. But if we make one mistake, we are considered not masculine and she loses attraction, even if we recover. It’s very hard to have this dual standard.

Definitely agree. None of us are perfect and we could all use a little more compassion for each other and ourselves, particularly if we communicate, apologise if needed and improve the behaviour. Plus, we can act different to our normal selves in dating when we feel insecure or hopeful that a connection progresses and hold ourselves or others to a higher standard, why is why self worth is so important.
I'm sorry to hear that you've experienced a double standard in the past. The video was meant for people of all genders so not specific to any one group so hopefully that came across. If you felt comfortable sharing some more details I can try and help. Thanks, Sam
