I've listened to so many covers of this song and so many drum covers and i've never heard anyone play the drums to this song as perfect as Josean did. From the opening to solo to ending. The bass drum hits every note to a "T" from the album version. Even when Art Cruz plays it live he doesnt play it exactly how the album has it. Hats off to Josean! Fucking amazing! This cover is absolutely fucking amazing, the best cover of this song out there. Straight up goosebumps watching this.
And here I thought I was the only drummer that just now realized the exact same thing! Dude you are spot on. I always tap to the kicks (This song is particular) when I hear the covers of this song and this and the actual recording of the song are the only time I've ever heard it match. I even questioned whether it was just the actual drum tracks. Either way, this cover was amazing and good ear 😉
@@rayguess11 I always go along with the kicks and I play it spot on. Especially when the solo starts and after. I can never find anyone who plays it exactly how Chris Adler did. And when I first heard Art play this song love I was like noooooooo he doesn’t play it like Chris does! Art Cruz is an amazing drummer and a great addition to LOG but Chris was what helped made them. His chops were unmatchable.
Over a year later and this song STILL gives me chills! FFAA did an amazing job with this cover and with a new album announced the hype is far too real. Really wish we could get an album of covers from them.
