Who else is in team snow? Big thanks to Victor for joining me! Find hime on RUclips: ruclips.net/user/FrameOfTravel And Instagram: instagram.com/frameoftravel/
This turned out soooo well! I love the pacing, jokes here and there, and your editing was soooooooo on point!!! Absolutely amazing :D The trip itself was so fun as well! I want to go back soon!
I've actually been there with my family for 紅葉狩り this year as well! Maybe not the best activity with little kids though :D It is beautiful no matter when however!
Wonderful Video Johannes. The shots up the snow-laden mountain were at times truly breathtaking. I love taking images and freezing cold temperature aside, I simply wouldn't know where to point the camera. I think the cedar trees are called Cryptomeria - so stately, graceful and elegant.
Yes, it truly was breathtaking. And in addition to the scenery we had the perfect conditions with lots of snowfall throughout the previous night and the day! They are Cryptomeria indeed. Shooting there with a wide lens makes humans look even smaller/the trees look even more gigantic!
I always loved snow but didn't realize how much I'd miss it until I moved to the Tokyo region. I do not miss the grey sky and little daylight we have in Bavaria though.
Great awesome video! Well shot! I’m yet to experience proper snow (I live in the south of the Mediterranean). Had a bit of snow in 2019 during a visit to Nikko
Johannes; I just watched a fascinating youtube video called "Japanology Plus - Miso". They talk about Nagano as a premier Miso making center in Japan. They spoke of someone in Yokohama 'Fujimoto Tomuku' who was ill and began to take Miso soup more regularly to aid in her cure. She opens a shop called (I think 'Misomaru' ) for her customers. They mentioned using miso paste mixed with freeze dried vegetables etc and freezing these balls then one takes a ball from the freezer and puts it out to warm up a bit then drop it in a small bowl and add very hot miso broth. The curative powers are said to be very helpful and I know you were ill so perhaps you might try this if you haven't already done so. Miso might be an interesting topic for a video from the perspective of it being very healthy. I hope I haven't bored you with this but I would like to learn more. Be well. Patrick
Very nicely composed, Johannes! It is very thoughtful of you to include the details on how to get to the shrine. Victor sometimes works with Norm Nakamura of Tokyo Lens. Do you ever get a chance collab with Norm?
Thank you etherdog! About doing a collab with Norm, I don't know. I've known Victor for about 3 years now, and we've talked about making a video together for quite some time and finally did it. I've never met or spoken to Norm however, so I really can't say.

Beautiful winter moments like in Bavaria. I love real winters with sun and snow. But in general I prefer spring and autumn.

I hope you'll be able to come to Japan again soon Ninja Monkey! Greetings to Gibraltar!
I hate snow!! But maybe I would like it better in Japan 🤔
Really liked the video! Keep up the good work!
Maybe. There's something called カイロ here, which is some kind of heat plaster. They make the cold much more bearable.
