    I've never come across your channel before until today, but I wanted to thank you for such an in-depth step by step guide for this particular router. I've already watched several of these videos by other various creators, but yours by far stands out to me. Cheers! 🍺

    Could you please explain the part that comes b4 all that ie how to hook it up in the 1st place, can that just be linked via ethernet to my sky hub, does it need to be to linked to a modem, does a modem router work or for best results soley to a modem??

    Do you know what the wifi button is for & how to tell if its switch on when I push it? I am having difficulty with slow speeds & losing wifi connection constantly & I have basically left everything at default because its website is far too technical to comprehend. I have turned on the security I hope lol & also managed to change the default red light to colour changing which was an awesome discovery not even mentioned in any review I watched before purchasing. Thank you 🙏

    I have two of these acting as a mesh and it is amazing. Super fast and absolutely reliable. I’m new to Ubiquiti and in my new house am considering the UDM Pro, maybe a switch and some G4 cameras. I’m interested to know if the best thing to do is to make the UDM the router and these just mesh access points? I’m just not willing to throw away these just because Uniquiti also has WiFi.

    ok, so you NOT clicking use 160mhz on either of the channels is SERIOUSLY limiting you. You have effectively bought a Wifi6 router but using it as Wifi5 at the moment. Not everybody can use this spectrum, but most can. This is a major component to consider. I would seriously go back and enable those, then do your tests again. If you end up using another one of these or something similar, you will have to dedicate one of the 5ghz channels to the 'backhaul'.

    • @matthewh940
      @matthewh940 Год назад

      That only matters if your clients support 160mhz channel widths. 160MHz also limits the number of non overlapping channels available. Wifi6 absolutely works over 80Mhz channel widths, as well as in the 2.4GHz range.
