Good to see there are more people buying wood glue in the same shop that I use... Great clamps!
+Rolv Valle It does not stick very well, but it smells good, and any squeeze out can be licked away. thank you for the feedback Rolv
Ah, "a good ol' t-nut". I like that.
These are nice bar clamps. I'm watching some of your older videos at the moment. Good stuff.

I was wondering where the biscuits were, then bam......with honey. Just an idea for helping with the racking problem, Steve French has a cool idea in a video he did on shop improvements. Truly enjoy your videos.
Think you where trying to comment on Jayes video :-)
Michael Mueller Yup I think this was headed for Jay Bates pipe clamp workbench vise. But thanks for watching Danny Shackleford
Bellevue Woodshop That is weird. I was wondering what happened to my comment. I watched his video right after yours. I tried to comment on yours and his but when I submitted it I got a message that said there was a problem(I'm using my daughter's tablet because my phone is broken)..... Anyway sorry about that.... Like I thought I said last night, I like the clamp and I usually thread bolts right into the wood and haven't had any issues with them pulling out. The lock with the rubberband is the best part, I would probably just play with the clamp at first, making a bunch of clicking noise..... until my wife got annoyed.
Danny Shackleford Hmm, YT sometimes play some dirty tricks on ya. :) Thanks on the feedback on the clamp, it is much appreciated. Funny you should mention the clicking noise.....I have taken myself, several times, just ratcheting and making clicking noises again and again. . thanks for watching
Good idea, my friend.
Thank you Ricardo
Wow these are super! I want to make some NOW! :)
+Cosmas B Thanks Cosmas, glad you liked them, and they are an easy build

+Mike Fulton Thanks Mike, thanks for watching
Glue from Biltema, good choice:)
spawacz34 Yup, waterproof outdoor glue, dries a little faster than my other Pvac glue....and waiting for glue o dry while shooting YT video.....is not tha fun
oh nice idea ,i think so
Thanks Tomas😀👍
I wonder if a small diameter bungee cord would work better than rubber bands. Also have you tried to make longer version? I am imaging 6ft long, but you would probable need it them to be a lot thick and maybe wider.
+Michael Crawford I dont see why bungee cord could not be used. I just used some readily available parts. I think if you want to avoid major flex, they should be taller , but wider would of course also work, especially if you use plywood. Thanks for watching and commenting Michael
I really LOVE your creations! It's just painful that I have to wait months for new ones! :(
How long for the next? :)
+Giaco Whatever Thanks a lot for the kind comment. I am sorry for the long periods between releases. I really do want to put out content more frequently, but have two issues.
I want to release content that has some special/unusual approaches to project. call it some kind of originality. And tha main factor is TIME. I wish I had more time available to put out more content. hopefully this winter I can get out some projects more frequent, but no promises. I have not set a date for next video yet
I totally agree with the first part and I knew it! Your videos are always special and it's impossible to make them once a week! I do vids once a week but mine are moslty as simple as they can be... Little projects that anyone can do... Yours are honestly amazing! I saw all of them 3 times... A couple of em 5 or six... Thank you for you work man! Looking foreard to seeing more! :)
Great clamps - how come you decided to put the ratcheting mechanism on the top "clamping" surface rather than the bottom "non-clamping" surface?
gracias por la informacion,yo soy barnizadora en mexico y quiciera aser unos sarjentos para mi papa q es carpintero como regalo q m encantaron tus sargentos gracias y sigo viendo tus videos saludos desfe mexico.
Muchas gracias. Me alegro de que te haya gustado

You can use wax finish also :-)
Kalin Tzankov Yup, any no-stic finish should work great, such as wax
A good way to harden wood threads is to soak them in CA/Super glue.
Tyler S I have never tried it, but I guess that would work great. I remember in my model airplane day, I always reinforced the balse cutouts edges and endgrain with superthin CA glue
From "Mat S" (he has replies disabled) "Great clamps - how come you decided to put the ratcheting mechanism on the top "clamping" surface rather than the bottom "non-clamping" surface?"
I had that thought as well (at first). But now that I think about it, having the notches toward the piece that's being clamped would help keep glue from sticking to the clamps, when doing big glueups.
J DeWitt I noticed the same thing, and notified him, and also answered the Q in a PM. I did not actually experiment with it any other way, as I am unsure about how one would achieve a positive stop for the upper part with the notches on the bottom of the bar. i might be missing something obvious here. But as you say, it creates less contact surface with the glue-up surface with only the top of the ratchet notches touching the board. Thanks for watching, sharing and commenting
Bellevue Woodshop The design would have to be slightly different, but you could have notches on the bottom and still have a positive stop for the upper part. Think of it like this. Instead of pushing against the notch on top, it would be pulling against the notch on the bottom.

Veldig kult!
Ser veldig stilig ut i hvert fall!
Takk for svar forresten :)
:/ I like this and I suspect the cost to get the wood, dowels and misc bitn n bobs will be more than it would cost for a pair off clamps off E-Bay. Offcourse its not just about the cost , its about the pleasure of making something for yourself. However whats more effficiant ? Great if you have the materials lying about or notice some going to waste that you can procure. Here in the UK materials are soo expensive everythings being shipped in from china :/
+ScotsFurian Thank you, and I see your point. But as you say, its the pleasure of creating something, and in my case I got ALL the parts for free, so the only thing it cost me was the labour, and that was the fun part, thanks for watching and commenting
You sound like Christopher Walken
Nucc's Garage more cowbell!
Nucc's Garage Hmmmm. I might have heard that I time or two:):)
Nick Ferry "Fellas....It sounded great...but honestly...I could have used a little more cowbell"
Hey are you danish because i saw a danish sign in your shop tour 2014 video.
+snorre dyhr Close Snorre, Norwegian it is
How do I get a Bellevue Woodshop shirt and sticker?
Ryan Trogdon Hi Ryan. thank you for offering to contribute to the growth of the channel. I am honoured. I have not set up an spreadshirt store or similar, but I will look into it. The shirts I wear in the latest video I had made in china as a test batch just for fun. I have sent you a PM about the stickers. thanks for watching and commenting
Visste ikke at Hamburger dressing fungerte som trelim...må hamstre noen neste handlerunde! 🤣
Det fungerer sjukt bra....og det beste av alt er at evt squeeze out kan enkels slikkes bort....og godt smaker det også
@@bellevuesnekkeri 🤣 👅
Some constructive criticisms: "Obviously just an idea but the wood has to be strong enough to not bend.
The video is almost nine minutes long and after so much work it could t
