      Hi Ms charm. I'm interested to take a HMO but may tanong lang ako pwede mag apply ng HMO kahit ung philhealth ay NHT's meaning philhealth ng Masa which is free from government and renewable yearly. And also dependent lang ako dahil sa asawa ko naka name ung philhealth. Thank you po

    Getting individual hmo plans could could get tricky, they said that there's a lot of common diseases(Pre-existing conditions) that aren't covered with using the HMO for an individual plan unlike with HMO when you're employed where there's no limit to which diseases are covered. Hoping for a next video on how you chose your HMO and what were your choices

      Yes script nila yun kapag nakita nila individual ka agad nila sasabihin pre-existing condtion. Pero pwede siya ilaban magaask sila ng mga bloodchem, etc to prove na hindi siya pre existing

      @@Ian-sj7up Pacific Cross doesn’t cover Pre-existing conditions. And this is permanent exclusion from your coverage. Hope this helps.

    Why would you get an HMO limited to 200k when you could get health cards that give higher coverages at almost same rate? and diba Avega and Intellicare has the highest network? not sure, nabasa ko lang somewhere

    Only pre natal and post natal consultations are covered in HMO. Laboratories for pregnant women are not covered.

      It really depends on your needs but generally yes kasi it serves a different purpose from health/life insurance din.

      It is really depends on ano ang mas important sayo, Critical Illness ba or preventive health care lang like lab costs consultations and emergencies.

      Start your health insurance then maybe for HMO, bili ka nung affordable lang around 3-6k sa lazada (maxicare, etc.)for emergencies,

      For individual, NOPE but for company, they can add it to their benefits. Individual plan is non comparable with corporate plan.

      You can avail of HMO plan even if you’re not a Philhealth member. However in the event that you get hospitalized, the supposed Philhealth share in your charges will be covered by you as an out-of-pocket expense. Your HMO provider will only cover the charges net of Philhealth share. Hope this helps.

      @@paulinecustodio367 HMO is not for long term. The plan is only good for one year. Then kanilang mong kukuha ulit ng HMO para covered ka pa rin for the next year. Though meron naman pong Health insurance na with HMO benefits po sa AIA.

    So disappointed with my HMO, me and my business partners got our personal MEDICARD paid annually but here in Bataan they do not honour this HMO, we should pay the service first (Annual physical exam, dental check, etc) before we can use it and just file a refund to reimburse such a BIG hassle. 😩

      Usually, it’s by reimbursement unless you have an LOA (letter of authority).

      You should ask your HMO company or even the dental clinic if included ba yan sa plan mo. Usually kasi hindi yan covered nila.

      Braces aren’t considered medical treatment. By usual standards kasi, for aesthetic purposes kaya nagpapabrace. So hindi po magagamit ang HMO sa pagpapacheckup or pagpapa-adjust ng braces. If you’re enrolled in a corporate account, check with your HR for your coverage details. Hope this helps!
