- This video shows you how to diagnose a fault with the blue & me control unit that is fitted to fiat's, alpha's and some fords.
Common symptoms include :-

I have a question:
I have the same underlying problem with my Fiat Qubo 2016 model.
1. Flashing odometer
2. Blue & Me doesn’t work
3. Parasitic drain.
So, yesterday I unplugged the cable that is connected to the Blue&Me module. And after 24Hrs the car’s battery health went down from 12.12v to 12.04v.
What could be the reason? Is it because I didn’t do the Proxi Alignment?
By the way, I recently added a third party stereo with a screen to my dashboard.
Any help and tips are much appreciated.

It's possible that you may have another underlaying issue that's draining your battery.
If you take a look on our channel we also show you how to test for parasitic drain.
Basically you need to test which fuse is drawing power, then investigate that component.
Before you get you get ahead of yourself test your battery, a bad battery can loose charge overtime.
Anyway, after 30Hrs I’m back again:
1. Unplugging the cable from the Blue&Me module (underneath the seat of the driver- Belgium) didn’t work.
So, I remove the fuse F36 from the cabin (inside the car) fuse box to see if it shuts down all the radio, stereo and others that is using this fuse connection.
Id recommend carrying out the proxy alignment as per the video

My bipper is doing this. I have no clue what I’m watching where can I take it, near Cardiff and how much am I looking at.

Just carry out the same procedure in reverse, to tell the vehicle it has the module equipped.

Hello had a new haed unit fitted in my citreon relay 2021 do you know where the blue and me unit is located, or could you sort it out for me im based in blackwood wales.

You know by chance where the Blue & Me device is located in the Fiat Bravo 198 ll?
Should be behind the glove box.

By removing the blue and me and not programming it, can you still drive the car as normal?
Yes the vehicle should drive as normal with the blue & me control unit disconnected.
However this hasn't been tested by ourselves and we wouldn't recommend it.
@@DropTheBoxOfficial Can you confirm - is the battery drain stopped by simply disconnecting the blue&me unit? I have the same problem on a 2013 Doblo. Stopping the battery drain is my immediate priority. Longer term, given that I'd like to keep the car as long as possible I think I'll look at upgrading my audio/bluetooth system rather than simply replacing the blue&me unit. Great video by the way! As long as the source of the battery drain is confirmed to be the blue & me unit, disconnecting the unit will stop your battery drain.

I have spoken to fiat, they say it can't be done they won't even try. I've tried a fiat specialist, they say it can't be done, again, won't even try. Where are you based, if you're still in business, I'll book in with you. I understand that things don't always work, but at least it's worth a try.

why not tell the owners of cars with mileage flashing problem that now is a great time to fit a new updated infotainment new system that does not require "blue& me and you can have DAB radio and many various new apps and internet etc. .The only requirement is to unplug the Blue&me and fit new microphone to headcloth or use a built in one on the new radio set ...test to see if it is adequate ...good luck reprograming whatever is no longer presently required on body alignment coding .
Updating your infotainment system to a newer, modern version is definitely a good option. However you will still need to update the proxy alignment settings if you disconnect the blue and me control unit, or you will be stuck with your odometer flashing until you do so. ( This tells the vehicle that the blue and me equipment is no longer fitted)
