been waiting for someone to make a competent video about this method lol. i've done quite a bit of testing and my biggest question is still whether it's better to tank melee hits or not. i think if you are shield flicking with spectral (dfs might be ok too) then tanking melee hits is better, but dodging the aoe attack or not plays a role too. bf increases kph for sure, but the method by no means relies on it. i think zcb is better, but you're right that the 10hp is not an insignificant tradeoff. interested to see more people testing this method to figure out the real kph potential of it.

It just regens really fast. If you look the first time he teleports (mid kill) corp was around 1400 hp and by the time he gets back Corp is already almost 1600hp
you think you could do a 1h of it to see how much kill you end up with, because i feel like losing dfs make you take a lot more dmg which make you tele more and corp heal more?

This replaces the bgs/arclight in that its faster to get to zero defense. Corp still hits hard with this method, but masori good. You can see multiple times throughout the fight where corp still hits huge. If you wanna be super safe, just tele any time you are below 66 hp and see a magic attack incoming, but odds of getting ko'd at that point are slim, you have a lot of time to react to the magic attack.

How many maul hits would be needed instead of dwh?
They have the same effect, maul is just more accurate

@wizzyhatg the elder maul is 5% more reduction so youd only want 2 specs as 3 is very small difference. send a ralos with gear switch or bgs instead
You can do 2 elder mauls and 4 ralos to get corp to 0 defence.

It does unfortunately, if you want to really sweat it you can flick dfs(/buckler/spectral/ely), purging staff/kodai/zcb, augury etc.
i posted a 10 kill hour of this method. if you can tolerate no sound, terrible quality, and a poorly refined strategy lol.

isnt the point of bgs spec to reduce its magic/attacking stats so it becomes a chicken, how is it not hitting very much damage without the bgs spec?
