- Welcome back guys! This time I’m coming at you with a delicious seafood rice recipe but we’re using djon djon mushroom, which is used to make Haitian black rice. It is diri djon djon with crab! We use the shells from 1 lb of raw shrimp and rock crab to build our djon djon seafood stock, then we season it with my green seasoning (haitian epis), see link below for the recipe. We also use 1 can of lima beans, basmati rice, and 1/2 a chicken bouillon cube. Subscribe to my channel for more!

Where do you get your mushrooms from?
Where would you suggest I get the Diri Djon Djon from because I live in North Carolina?
If you can google a local haitian market try that first; if you have no success you may have to source it online
How do you know how much water to use? Don’t want to end up with mushy rice?
