Does this block any RAM slots or sit high enough? My current stock Ryzen 5600x cooler is too wide and blocks slot 1 on my B550M A mobo, looking for a good replacement.
Just fitted one to my existing rig. Overall its a very good cooler for my needs (i7 7700) and has seen my cpu temps drop by around 10 degrees on normal usage, and on intensive stuff like video conversion it has seen my temps drop from 100 degrees with the stock intel cooler, to a max of 75 degrees, It was ok fitting although I think the instructions were a little unclear on what screws you are using, and the only other problem I had is I was fitting onto an existing PC and the motherboard was still in place in the case, so space was not a premium when trying to fit the clips to hold the fan in place. Also, I did find screwing the mounting bar to the brackets was a bit of a pain due to the lack of room, as the screws are pretty damn short so getting both sides to actually get a purchase on the screw holes was a pain. Over all though, I felt it was a fairly easy experience for someone who has never fitted a cooler before.
Quality realy? I look some reviews from you the last with that dark rock pro 5 and the shadow rock 3 and sry both with so much faults that even they are german was for me a no go. And so far on my list there are much more with never had this issue!
I really like the fan clips on this cooler. It very simple to install the fan. I had Arctic Freezer 34 eSports and it had flimsy fan clips and you could easily scratch the radiator with that clips. That's the only downside of Freezer 34 cooler.
Freezer 34 clips are permanently mounted to the rad? Not sure how you would scratch it like that. Noctua P1 clips for example are perfect examples of 100% scratch
@@STSYT No, the clips are not permanently attached to the radiator on freezer 34. Only the end of the clips are attached through the radiator and when you want to remove the fan they often slip out of the place and when you want to set them in place again you can easily scratch the bottom of the radiator.
Yep it will, i do have 12400f installed with these cpu cooler. An average temperature while idle is 28-31C. While gaming can get up to 55-60, but it is really quiet :)
They are also known for still having the worst mounting installation of any of the major brands because of that stupid free floating crossbar. At least Cooler Master listened to users and fixed the notoriously bad Hyper 212 mounting in later versions. Bequiet is still in denial.
Well i am not sure about "worst mounting installation"...It took me up to 15-20 minutes to install and turn on pc. All mounting brackets are marked correctly, not sure why it is hard IMHo.

It sits offset on the bracket rather than central so there is no overhang on the ram slots.

There shouldn't be any issue. The Pure Rock shouldn't protrude over any Ram Slits on any standardized MOBO.
The cooler is offset, on the mounting bracket so does not encroach onto ram slots at all.
Can you please also review the DeepCool AS500 Plus and the DeepCool AK620 air coolers.

hell nah. i struggled for about 2 hours to install the damn clips

My be quiet fans are louder on low rpm, is thaz normal? Clicking noise under low rpm
Check in your BIOS if the fans are running on PWM. Sometimes they switch to a DC powermode which causes a lot of noise.
