- This customer's computer was overheating and shutting down. It was the all in one liquid cooler that failed and led to the overheating of the CPU. In this video I show replacing the AIO with an air cooler. This keeps the CPU cool enough allowing the computer to run it's best.

I loved that you showed the entire process (even removing the screws and struggling with the backplate). As someone who is about to build his first PC and I am least comfortable in installing the CPU cooler I appreciate you making this video and showing the entire process.
Thank you very much. There are lots of complete build videos and live streamings of builds here on the channel. Here's one ruclips.net/video/r_fyVdvBluM/видео.html
@@MichaelTheComputerGuydismounting the CPU cooler would be also appreciated - I need to do it and it's freaking scary thing to do
@@paweskarzynski8068 Especially when cpu cost 500$ or more :)
I am doing my first ever pc build and your videos are helping me a lot, big thanks!
I couldn't figure out the fan clips until I watched this. Thanks so much
Was getting super frustrated because I wasn’t balancing pressure on the fan screws. The official video didn’t even tell me to do what you did. Great video
Thank you
my pure rock 2 will come in 2 days, this video is a nice training for me. thanks 😁
Used the same BeQuiet fan, works great.
Thank you for this - especially the clips that hold the fan to the heatsink. It just never "felt" right trying to clip the fan to it (always done AIOs and not heatsinks like this), and even watching you do it it, it still felt VERY uncomfortable trying to clip it on. But it's done now. Thanks.
thank you for your help!
this saved my life!! thank you very much!!!
Thanks a lot, it was very useful
Love relaxing to your videos
😊
I also had a liquid cooling system (corsair hydro H100 v2) and i think that water dissapeared. I back to air normal coller, it is better.
Watercooler fan pulled warm air in?
Somebody knows the size of the screws, please i need it
its ok for ryzen 7800x 3d? Only gaming
I don’t have pins for the RGB🥺
case ?
What is the model of the case? Thnx
Hey you didnt put any thermal paste on it or was it already the stock on with the cooler?
It had it already applied.
what is this job called?
Will this cpu cooler work on a ryzen 7 7800x3d oc
850watt psu
i wonder aswell i bought it waiting for arrival
Will this fit in dell optiplex sff case. I have a loud fan when under load.
Probably not but if you do a search for the Dell model number and the model number of this cooler or another cooler you'd like to put in it you'll likely find people talking about whether or not it fits.
Ordered one with my Ryzen 5800x3d .. should be enough?
👍
Do you think this cooler will be good for ryzen 9 5900x?
I hope you've figured this out by now.
Shouldn't the cpu fan turn in the odther direction because of the airflow ? 29:07
Nevermind i just checked
Hello. I have this cpu cooler and my cpu keeps reaching high temperature 80+ Celsius. Ive watched your video and i installed it correctly as i can see. Ive tried to re apoly thermal paste after watching instructions but no luck there either… any idea what im doing wrong?..
What CPU do you have?
@@MichaelTheComputerGuy i5-13600kf
@@epicmanftw 80° plus Celsius with that CPU and this cooler is about right. If you'd like the temperatures to be lowered you could try a larger cooler from be quiet like the Dark Rock Pro 4 amzn.to/44ZzDQa or a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB amzn.to/47isr3f
could also connect another fan to the other side can clip both sides
add 1 more fan
The radiator cooler is pulling through the rad into the case... Instead of blowing through it out the case.. But Michael the 'computer guy' found out that there are airflow arrows on the side of a casefan 😂 not that u need those arrows to know this but OK.. It's a good hint for the non 'experienced' people here.
You didn't peal the seal of the cooler, or I missed that ?🤨
25:20 I removed the cover exposing the thermal compound
Those water cools seem like they’re unnecessary
Thats true , they just nice looking
you dont need Thermal paste?
There is original paste when cooler is new.

Your camera moving with your head is awful. Could not stand viewing this completely. But some interesting informations, thank you.
Fan clips are awful
bro... the electronic screwdriver messes up and strips threads on things you dont want to be replacing... lazy.
The one I use has a torque control. I set it to the lowest torque and it's safe.
