I have put off doing a border on a complicated floral throw until I found a delicate, simple stitch. Found it! Thanks for the clear explanation as usual. Sorry you’re unwell, take care.
Love this border. I just finished a large granny square blanket and was looking for a simple border and found yours. Thank you for the great video and tutorial.
Just done this border on a granny stripe baby blanket. Very pleased with the result especially as I am still a novice to the craft. Have followed a number of your tutorials which are nicely paced and clear. Thanks.
Great tutorial and clear explanation! I am a beginner and had no problem at all following your instructions. I did layers of spider stitch in alternating colors as a scarf border. Very pretty and not too fussy!
Such a simple little stitch, but it adds a lovely detail! I really like this. Now I’m going to have to find something to make to use it. Thanks, and hope you’re feeling better soon!
I made a blanket out of this square. I made the squares in solid colors. All in jewel colors with merino wool. It's gorgeous. I just now I'm making the border with the above stitch.
Looks amazing !! I'm nearly done with my blanky on the same pattern and almost same colours, I will definitely do this border,as I like to have differs border on the blankets Thank you very much Rabecca..... hope you get better sooooon, keep warm ,have lots of hot water with honey, cinnamon and tumeric .....💌
I have been wanting a different edge to add to a granny hexagon cardigan and I think I will try this one on the cardigan I am close to finishing. Thank you!
Just finished a dish cloth and I found this. It is just beautiful, so Danity. I will have to practice with the next round as hard to see. Hope you are feeling better soon.
I LOVE the colors you choose !!! And you are so pleasant and fun. Thank you for doing this for everybody and not just patrons. It is precious. It really is and going in my favorites and to do next file on here, so thank you so much :) God bless and Happy Holidays 🧡🙏
Lovely! Always good to have more borders to choose from . (I too have a fear of spiders, no shame there). Hope that you and your family feel better soon
So pretty and simple looking but a nice change from just a sc border thank you Rebekah I will be giving this one a try , hope you have a lovely Christmas 🎄amanda xx💕💖
Oh! My Dear beautifully explained. Beautiful stitch border and delicate, love the colors. Thanks so much for the tutorial. I hope your voice gets better, take care of yourself, you sound very pleasant. Thanks. Have a pleasant holiday and Merry Christmas. P.s. I subscribed since I liked very much the way you explain step by step, I'm just trying to learn crochet, and I think you will be my no. One teacher. 🎄☃️🎄☃️🙏
This looks so beautiful and so easy do you think it would look good on the granny merge blanket or better leaving the blanket on its own please give me an idea you are so so clever❤
I really love this border, thank you. Can this border be added to previous rounds of another border stitch as an edgning or too much? I just completed a blanket and have already put SC (US terms) round & 3 HDC rounds & just found your video and would love to add it! Thank you!
Hello! I love the stitch you have used for the square. Which one is it? I' still new at crochet, so I don't know many stitches yet, but I'd like to try that one: it looks beautiful!
Can you work this beautiful border if you have initial rounds of HDC or SC (US) with 3 HDC or SCs in each corner (rather than SC, ch2, SC)? If so, how would you work the corners please? Thank you.
It was simple and easy til you started building. It was really difficult to see where the stitch goes due to the camera angle. Might be simple for some but not for me. 😢
Aw sorry Jeanne, it can be a bit tricky at times and the chain spaces are so tiny, sorry you found the angle a problem. You don’t have to build up more rows, you can just do one round and it’s still beautiful… or if you do want to build it up - find those chain 1 spaces and you’ll be good to go. 🥰
That’s right, once you work up more rows of the spider stitch you just work your double, ch 1, double all together into the ch 1 from the previous round. 🌸
This is a pretty and simple boarder. Perfect for the baby blanket that I just finished. Thank you for sharing. I hope you and your family feel better soon. 💜🙏🏻

@@BlossomCrochet you don't skip anything like in the first row? Just work in the chain spaces?

WAYYYY TO MUCH TALKING !!!
If anyone comes out with a stick bug stitch, I’m outta here!
Too much build up 😊
Very pretty! What is the stitch called for the body of the work? It looks a bit like a granny square stitch, but prettier. What is it?
I was wondering the same thing too, I read through the comments but couldn’t see any name of it…
If you are talking about the square she said it’s in the description box if you want to crochet it
It's a 'Half Spiked Granny Square' and you can find the tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/oCbdXb_N8Ms/видео.html
