Jason, thanks for the update. I am still calculating our cost for the year on our R model. I have liked your recap and appreciate it. You and I see things very similar to understand our Op budget. Hope she comes out soon. We have had ours in the shop for annual as well as a couple fixes the past 2 months. Take care, have a happy holiday season.
If Air Impressions is like the other well-known Twin Cessna shops, be prepared for a HUGE price increase in your annual bill. Based on your statement of not having peace of mind, your inner voice is telling you something. I just had my R model in for an annual, and the bill was shocking. And this is from the firm that did the pre-buy last year and fixed everything they found. I was told the first 2 years of ownership are expensive, then it settles down a little for a few years. Fire Pilot and I paid about the same. I hope next year will be much cheaper, otherwise...
if you aren't happy with Air Impressions, check out Mesquite Aircraft at KHQZ. Also very familiar with Twin Cessnas. I used them for the prebuy when I bought my 340 and was very impressed
