Thank you for getting into the practical topics of tires with great thoughts. I have always stored my tires on rims vertically with maximum psi just like new cars would when they left their factory to avoid any bulging before PDI and right against the wall connected to the house in the garage to get some indoor regulated temperature through the connect wall. If everything works well with my current Micheline All Weather Crossclimate2 tires by the end of this winter I will be selling all the All Season and Winter tires and switch to All Weather tires only on all my vehicles to avoid any need of swapping or storing tires in the future. Maybe making room for a larger snowblower with all the money saved to remove the snow faster!😉

I store my tires in similar conditions. They're a valuable investment and I want to make sure they last as long as I'll need them to.
