"Mookie Blaylock" genius grooving to guitar riffs so inspired by Eric Clapton's hit "Cocaine". It is more than a dream come true to see and hear Mike, Stone and Jeff play like real legends in the 90's. Dave K. is an asset to the band in the breakthrough. Eddie's vocal range, clarity and strength are exceptional for his youth and it is evident that his place in frontman history is unprecedented and will never be equalled or "outshined".He is to rock and roll what Caruso was to opera. The birthing of Pearl Jam witnessed by a select audience in the illustrious history of rock and roll fame.Thank you for sharing the best debut video clip.

I’ve got a cool story about Eddie Vedder. First I worked for an insurance company back in the day in the special lines field and remember actually speaking to Eddie about his boat policy! He said enjoyed calling instead of his agent! Very down to Earth and later we were able to meet at a Seattle Pearl Jam show so he was able to put a face to the voice on the phone 📱. ILL NEVER FORGET IT! RIP CHRIS CORNELL. The Seattle scene in the early 1990’s is unsurpassed by anything going on today!

Holy shit. I was at this show. I can't believe there is a video of it. Wish the audience was clearer and I could pick myself out.

This is so cool! Particularly enjoyed watching young Eddie experimenting with his signature 'stage moves' during Even Flow, not quite sure yet what to do with his limbs, hair, bandmates and overall energy. Trying to both contain himself AND let it rip at the same time 😀 so fun to see! The voice was all there already though.

Great early find. The audience has no idea what was about to hit them. Thanks for sharing!

I heard this live for the first time in 1991 at RPI field house. Pearl Jam opened for Smashing Pumpkins which opened for Red Hot Chili Peppers. Eddie was crowd surfing and hanging from lighting grid. It was f’ing nuts! Lol. I was a Temple of the Dog / Soundgarden fan, but was not really familiar with Pearl Jam yet. That all changed that night, lol.

Just watched a Rogers Stevens interview who said he and the rest of Blind Melon went to the first two Mookie shows in LA. Krusen went on to play with Rogers in Unified Theory, after the death of Shannon Hoon

I'm sending love to Pearl Jam you guys are so awesome and all the nineties bands you were talented musically we had some of the best music in that time and the men were so beautiful they had important things to say and I'm glad that they were our spokesman for the generation I'm so glad to be a generation xer I feel sad for future Generations because I don't think that something like that is going to happen maybe ever again in quite the same way you were kind and stood for good things and the women were treated as equal we were on a quest for something more and you men delivered it you were real and had real things to say and you stood for the good and you gave a lot of yourself on stage we got to know who you were and what you stood for I feel blessed to be a generation xer it was a special time and I don't know if history will repeat itself quite the same way Im sending so much love to Pearl Jam and thank you for such great talent and music...... Keep On Rockin in the Free World baby

yes it's him. His last show with the band was on May 25th, 1991. So everything up until that date it's all him. And ofc he is the one who's playing on the album "Ten".
