I retired from the Army in 2006. Been all over the globe, literally. East Tennessee is the most beautiful place I’ve ever lived, mild winters, cool summers (up in the mountains), plenty of water and wildlife, river bottoms with rich soil and fine folks. I bought and paid for a small place, on the Little River, coming out of the Smokies. It’s where my sweet wife and I will finish up. We love the Smokies. One regret I have is never meeting Bill Landry. I suppose he’s probably tired on meeting folks. Celebrity is a hard life. People are hard on celebs. I own just about all of the Heartland Series and love watching them again and again.

We used to call that ole dry corn "field corn" and give it to the live stock.

We're currently watching The Heartland Series from the beginning. I know they're old, but they're really blurry. I'm wondering if there are any plans to digitally remaster all these episodes at some point?
