DEADLY SNAKE Invaded My POND & ATE My FISH!

- In today's video, I go searching for the mysterious animal that has been eating my fish for over a month! After losing HUNDREDS of fish including my 2 rare paddlefish, I decided to drain my backyard pond and net all of the fish out to transport them somewhere more safe until we find out what's eating them! We suspected the alligator came back and has been killing our fish, however... After catching out TONS of my pet fish including fire eels, oscars, arowanas, redtail catfish, cichlids, koi, AND MORE we discovered a highly venomous coral snake inside of my pond, but it looks like one of my fish attacked and killed it... After netting more fish out we started feeling something going around inside of my filter, and when we looked inside we discovered a MONSTER invasive snake living inside! We suspect that this 6ft snake was the one eating my fish so we removed it and were able to put my fish back into their home!

Can’t believe that MONSTER snake was eating my fish! Should we buy more paddlefish?
Unbelievable
You know you really should add an electric fence or something to protect your fish from animals such as raccoons ,birds and of course snakes and yet it’s just a precaution.
Yeah
Wow
Theirs no way that’s a coral snake, they live in jungles so maybe a milk snake
Honestly you caught a very nice snake. It's calm and not trying to bite. Either it was released or it escaped but it definitely was someone's pet. Sorry you lost your fish but the snake probably thought it had stumbled upon a personal heaven. I hope you can find it a good home.
BRO SAID IT IS MY LUKY DAY😂
Those aren’t cheap either probably worth as much as the fish it ate
❤❤

@@victormaldonado4591 ikr to be honest I kinda feel lucky if I found snake like that too lol
Just as a word of warning, if you see another snake do not get near it if you can't see where its head is, you might want to look into getting a long snake hook or something similar for your house to use in future, better to have it and not need it than the other way around
Bro their not just one line they have heads that u can CLEARLY see
@@skai23pop pop ur😊
Everyone in florida should own at least one snakehook. They should just hand them out when you go to vote or whatever lol.
Ok I gotta say. The last thing I thought you guys would find is a Boa🐍. Good job picking it up Christian. Crazy video this time.😮
Christian has been Bobby’s friend since he was 10 years old and Christian is the hardest working kid (other than Bobby😉) and has been an amazing big brother role model for Bobby and yes… it’s awesome he’s back !
Christian went from Nah imma outta here to catching the snake with his bare hands 😂😂😂
I think bruce needs a safer home. He's blind, orange and in the wild. Please bring him in Bobby he's the channel mascot😢
He ain’t in the wild 💀
@@ItsRichieYT he's out there with cats dogs snakes birds and gators. That's in the wild boo 😅
@@xray5043 i guess ur right… well when he gets money he needs to make a fish warehouse so he ain’t got that kinda problem
@@ItsRichieYT he is rich lol if not rich wealthy... He has hundreds of thousands of followers. He's got multiple ponds, buys thousands of dollars of fish at the drop of a hat and has built a fish shed in his backyard. Bobby has money honey 🤣🍯

Damn, Bobby! You're so brave for jumping around in creeks, rivers, & everglades when Florida is crawling with animals that can send you to an early grave! I love snakes, but you wouldn't catch me 10 ft near a suspected coral snake! I also vote that you keep the boa! Most boas have mild temperaments which is why they're such popular pets. You can feed any "dud fish" you catch to it. You could try feeding snake heads to it too! Since it's wild caught it may already have an appetite for snake heads. 😂
I would be more concerned with the rattlesnakes and cottonmouths than a coral snake
@@deanskipit8220 Any one of those three species can ruin your day. Copperheads too.
@@Chompchompyerded only if they had copperheads in south fla. Fact I am from south fla and would go looking for snakes and never came across copperheads. Copperheads are in north parts of fla.
That Boa looked pretty pristine and very healthy. Didn't look like its been in the wild long, nor did it look like it was filled with ticks, or looked too mangled from fights...so Im gonna say Im about 95% sure it either got lose from someone else, or someone released it because they couldnt take care of it anymore.
Most likely, it's sad how common it is..
@@dougstadtman2892Same with Parrot's. People just release them. Sad thing is over 6,000 Parrot babies this year were stolen from the wild to be sold in pet store's. That snake definitely belongs to someone who let it go.
Poor paddle fish, they were beautiful 😢😢😢 someone has definitely lost a snake, he is beautiful, I'm sorry he's eaten your fish though 😢
I would have killed the snake bc it killed my fish
@Bubu0007 snakes gonna snake, fish gonna fish, you can't punish them for what they're meant to be, it's just an unfortunate thing, someone lost a pet snake and it did what snakes do in the wild, that's life. It is really sad that the fishes were lost, but that's mother nature I'm afraid. Not the snakes fault
boa constrictors actually make great pets, as long as you are ready for them to get big.
Snakey 🐍 is very hungry! Also, he looks so affectionate that he wants to hug! 😀
bobby is probably braver than the snake wranglers because they are accustomed to snakes but bobby on the other hand is scared straight of the snakes but still jumps into creeks, cannels and rivers. hope you are always unharmed
There is no point for snake wranglers to jump into creeks, canals and rivers....
you should keep the boa as a pet. it looks like it was pretty docile. put it in at least a 75 gallon tank though, so it has plenty of room. you can feed it goldfish and mice and stuff
Boas are illegal unless you have a permit.and use it for educational and conservation purposes
@@deanskipit8220 that is incorrect. please do your research before commenting, because you might be spreading false information. I believe you are thinking of Burmese pythons, which are illegal as pets.

Thing is - snakes eat like once or twice a week. If you lost a lot of fish in a short time there definitely was something more than one common boa (Boa imperator).
I was thinking that
@@lisa_h2702Me too….
Probably racoons
They can eat a few few in a few days when they are hungry
I have owned, rescued and handled snakes of many varieties for more than 20 years. As a snake deterrent you can sprinkle moth balls around the ponds and for some reason snakes do not like them and they stay away. Just thought that I would give you a tidbit of knowledge that I was taught a very long time ago.

Bobby you got me in to fishing so well
Please keep up the good work
Straight up when I visit Florida all I’m doing is going and catching fish
I am with the others about Bruce, he needs a safe place to live. ❤ Bruce
What a beautiful boa! I have had 2-3 of them. They make great pets, but it's interesting that she's eating fish! They usually go after rodents, but - hey! They adapt to their environment. I'm glad you found the culprit though :) And YES, buy more paddlefish!
easy prey.
Boas are awesome haha miss my lot
from venezuela they dont eat fish, i have a lot of them since 80"
He’s not putting up a fight ahhhh😂 got me on the floor 😂😂 6:32
Red touches yellow, he’s a deadly fellow! Red touches black, he’s ok Jack!
SCRATCH THE RHYMES!!! I just watched a video on the Western Ribbon Coral snake, red on black and venomous. The snake handler said the rhyme should be "If you don't know what kind of snake it is, leave it alone" 😂
Bobby put Bruce in a tank just in case this happens again we don’t want him to die
Got to love Florida! The closer you are to rhe Everglades the more wildlife you will see in your yard. Today my two dogs got ahold of a opossum. Which was weird. It was high noon, about 1pm. Full heat. She was walking in my back yard that's house to house yard to yard. Real tight, everyone has a fence, small yards, old 50 yr old established neighborhood. It's still their world no matter what we destroyed and took over
That boa is far too docile to have been a wild hatch... she probably got out or released from her home and unfortunetly your fish were the easiest thing she could get 😢
Ya I agree I hope she's ok
Nice video!! It would be good to have a fence around some of the ponds so no animals eat the fish.
The headless snake is more of a mystery... The boa would have eaten it whole.
It looks like a very dull columbian redtail boa. I hate to tell you this but that is not your fish eater. They are exclusive to rodents, birds and small mammals. If I had to guess you have a egret, heron, or other bird that had found your pond and is making a meal of your fish. Or possibly a banded water snake? I don't think you have found your fish killer yet unfortunately.
Edit: thinking on it the remainder of that coral snake makes it even more likely that it is a bird of some type. That is why the head and upper portion was missing I would guess.
By the way the snake reacted to being held it’s tame and someone’s pet that hopefully is the case the other some jackbutt let it loose. I remember the shovel nose episode they were quite expensive. My condolences for your losses. Time to get more fish and maybe figure out a way to keep the snakes out.
Personally, I would’ve found someone who could keep it as a pet. It looked docile.
I think it was dozy because it was full of Bobby’s fish tbh
Wow that is a huge snake!! Sucks you lost the paddle fish!
So, the rhyme to tell a coral snake from a milk snake is:
If red touches yellow,
You're a dead fellow.
If red touches black,
You're OK Jack.
Thank you Bill Nye the science guy.
🌟🌟Boa constrictors do not eat fish and they eat at the most once a week. Boa’s would eat any mice that come around your pond, frogs, etc. so you need to assume you did not catch the culprit that is eating your fish. I suggest you watch your camera.🌟🌟
We dude, you found super rare fish to keep in sewers and now a full sized boa just decides to adopt you, you are like, the exotic pet Disney princess.
I'm pretty sure the Coral snakes that are dangerous have heads. LOL
If you ever have a snake call him😂
Wow! What a beautiful Boa! I love snakes and that one is so docile! It had to of been someones pet at one time. Poor thing. I think you should try to find a home for it cuz it obviously looked like it missed human contact. Sorry it ate your expensive paddle fish and other fish too. But glad you found it before anymore fish got eaten or it got hurt. I wonder what ate the head off the coral snake? That was so odd to see. Great video! Keep up the awesome content!❤
Thanks for all you do Bobby!
LETS GET THIS MAN TO ONE MILLION SUBS!!!!!!!!
Christian, what a bad ass, as if you just grabbed the snakes like that..Nice one 👏🏆 Brave thing to do! Even if it turned out the coral snake had no head..😂😅..that Boa seemed fairly happy to be handled, so maybe it is an escapee pet! Rather you than me all the same, lol! Maybe get some pond netting, surely its a thing in the U.S?!..it's used alot in the UK..stops birds etc getting your fish..not aesthetically pleasing but will stop predatory reptiles eating your fish! Xx
Doubt that the Boa ate that many fish! They will eat small fish but fish are not top on the list for their food chain! Frogs, toads, mice, rats, and other small mammals are what they are really after and they will eat those before they would go after fish so that is probably what that Boa was after around your pond as well as the small mammals that come to the pond to drink! They sense heat from their prey and are basically ambush hunters hiding near logs and tall grass in wait of their prey! That one looked well taken care of, had no ticks or parasites so was probably someones escaped pet and had not been in the wild but for a few days at most! Raccoons are notorious for scooping fish out of ponds as well as other small mammals which the Boa was probably laying in wait for while they were hiding in the brush waiting for a fish to swim close enough to scoop out of the pond and you probably would not have seen any of this on the camera!
Bobby 9min mark.. Banded leporinus.. awesome fish have personalities like Oscars .. I miss min 😢
Bobby is uploading so much i love it thank you bobby for all the good videoa
The dead coral snake has pretty colors but i prefer snakes alive. I also like the boa constrictor
That's a gorgeous red tail boa. Definitely not local or poisonous. I used to have one. Hopefully it will rehome to a reptile owner to give it a nice habitat - far away from the fish!
you should get a Jau / Gilded Catfish (Zungaro zungaro). it is a monster catfish from the Amazon.
Wild video Bobby. God bless you both and your family and friends...🙏❤🙏❤🙏
Since finishing every episode of River Monsters I just religiously watch these videos as my new favourite show
So... are you getting new paddle fish?🤔
if you do, maybe put it in the oscar pond
Dude, that sucks, I'm so sorry. You were so proud of those paddlefish.
That's a Columbian Red tailed boa constrictor, they can get over 9 ft long and weigh over 85lbs
Omg!!!I never seen a snake so long and big like that!!😮😮😮And yeah, you should buy more paddle fish.actually the snake was kind of cute❤I love your videos and I am watching from Korea. Many of my friends watch and subscribed your video !keep up the good work!!!
Christian is an awesome snake wrangler. He’s definitely a great friend to have around! That coral snake would have put me in my grave!
It's definitely somebody's pet snake because if you look at the pattern it's reduced it's been somebody most likely read that boa or Python
Your friend is right. Thats a redtail boa.
What a beautiful boa n it had a Haute cuisine buffet to snack on so sorry about the lost fish Bobby I do hope you can get some more Paddle fish .
This was a great video. So happy that everything worked out for the best.
HOLY CRAP. But at least now you can go rescue more Cichlids.
probably a domestic snake for how chill it is, needs to be put to a reptile rescue if you don't want to keep it, it would make a great pet for someone
Beautiful boa! I really hope you find someone who will take her in. 🐍
"Aww look he's not putting on a fight"
Immediately regrets saying that after 1 second
Not likely that a boa ate all your or any of your fish. More than likely that birds, raccoons, alligators, or maybe even some native water snakes are eating your fish.
Wow coral snakes are a rare find that’s really cool. They are the most venomous snake in North America, same amount of deadly venom as cobras. But they rarely even try to bite, best thing to do is leave it alone of course but if anything net it up and put it in a forest
Great video as always. Yes on the paddle fish. I want to k ow what happened to the coral snakes head.
Keep up the good work you are the best you tuber I know of all the videos you post or interesting. Thank you a RUclipsr.

In a way, the boa is probably the one that killed the other venomous snake, so in a way.
He kind of thought I killed that snake, so I’m going to eat your fish as a reward. Lol

That coral snake would scare the ever loving crap out of me. The boa is a sweetheart and beautiful, probably a lost or abandoned pet. I hope it isn't euthanized.
I love snakes but still I hate that this happened 😢😢 you should put a gate around your ponds just in case it happens again
Looks like it's time to do a few more episodes to get your fish back
That python behaves like someone's released pet. Oh the dry weather lured it to your fish ponds for food and drink. Hope he makes his ponds safe, predators ate lots of blue cichlids
Bruce was like cool another thing to live from to add life to my age lol
If you get some new paddlefish, which I hope you do, you should put them in either your predatory pond or with the Oscar Army. They will get big.
That's 100% a boa. It has to be a pet too cause there's no other reason for it to be there.
For once good fishing and creek content
That alligator looking mad chill it could be a decoration I haven't watched this channel in a while
I wish i lived there i would love to have a redtail boa
[EDIT 2: HELL YEAH HATS OFF TO A CORRECT SPECIES ID! Proud of you man… getting that species correct was super important in this vid.
And boyo if you think that boa was a big snake you should spend a night in the Everglades. 😅]
[EDIT: Ahhhhh ok, it’s a very dead coral snake… that was an awesome prank… got it, something ate the head off the coral snake. AWESOME.]
Holy crap dude… that’s… a coral snake. One of the deadliest envenomations in all of nature (but fortunately rear-fanged so rather less dangerous than the hype) and something I’ve never seen in the wild! That’s AMAZING! I never imagined your oasis would attract one of them buggers!!
Dude you reactions are freaking dope wish you were still with your friends you guys made good contaxs
That was a beautiful snake and what sweetheart. You can tell it was a pet and handled. Thankfully Bruce was okay and sorry about the fish that u lost.
ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!??? YOU DIDN’T TELL ME ABOUT THIS?? I HAD TO FIND OUT FROM YOUR VIDEO??!!😱😱😱😩😩😩 I BET SOME IDIOT IN THE TOWNHOUSES BEHIND US HAD THAT BOA AS A PET AND RELEASED IT!!! 😡😡😡😡😡
I was looking for the comment from Bobby's Mom.
Some things you just don’t want to know. I used to get a rattlesnake repellent. It was granular and you made a line with it on the ground and they didn’t cross it. Whatever was in it irritated the snake’s belly and it had a smell they didn’t like. There was no discernible smell to me though. I don’t know what other kinds of snakes it works on but it might be something to check out. Ever since I lost a horse to a snake bite I get rid of any rattlesnakes that I find on my property.
Someone would pay hundreds of dollars for a Columbian boa that size
So glad Bruce is ok! ❤
“ if red touches yellow , you’re a dead fellow. If red touches black , you’re ok jack”
That was really cool. Thanks for the great video. Hope all your fish are better for snakes gone now.
Yes, likely someone's pet boa. The coral snake was neat - Red and black venom lack, red and yellow kill a fellow. Coral snakes are related to cobra's. Kill with a neurotoxin. The catfish was a member of the Doridae catfish.
Red and black, friend of Jack. Red and yellow, kill a fellow. 😂

I do believe Florida will pay you for catching that snake because it is invasive to Florida. If I was you would check into it. God bless you and your family my friend. p.s. what happened to Rob he seemed really good for the channel.
It's pythons that are invasive. Boas are legal last I heard.
