Cheers, bro... Love the sunny Hawkesbay. I saw a Kiwi family with some pretty avg content has got to 100k subscribers in 8months... Some how they have managed to tap into the US market... Been slow growth here!
Thanks Pearl, sure is, although I love the quietness and simplistic life in Tolaga bay better lol... When we go full time we'll be looking for the empty quiet places... But who knows we might get lonely... lol.
Excellent vid, More stunning N Z , Gee love Grandparents garden. Everyday is one day closer to your new van, and exciting travel times. We travelled in 1966 as a family of 7. Still remember some of the trip. I was 7 years old. Regards Bevan from Sapphire Central Queensland 🇦🇺🤠
Thanks Bevan. I'm so grateful to have all my grandparents around, I think I'll live to 100... It's awesome to make all those family memories aye and while the kids are still young, but not to young lol....
Thanks... Grandads been in Hospital for the past 7 weeks, I think he's had enough of being a live... I hope he pulls himself together, they say he's still fine, but he won't eat. It's great to have all my grandparents a live.
Oh no worries man we actually did another one recently maybe 5 or 6 videos back, another great free camp and some other things to do in the region like maraetotara falls, ocean beach and Te Mata peak.
Brought up in The Port, and Maraenui, shifted to Auckland in the mid ‘70’s due to the lack of work. I really miss the place. In 2012 I suffered from a major aneurysm that nearly killed me, and because it was so bad I lost a lot of my memories. In 2014 my children took me back to Napier and all my memories flooded back, that’s how good this place was! Go Napier, go Maraenui, go the Bay, the best place in the world!
Mate sounds like it's time to go home. I grew up in Maraenui as well. Loved the Napier summers and fishing 🎣 lots of great memories. Thanks for the comment
Thanks Craig... I think when we are full time, I'll be doing a couple of videos a week there will be so much to see and do, and that will help as well. Our caravan has been delayed now as well... Was due to be completed end of August, it's booked to be here on the 2nd of Dec now, hopefully we have it for a pre Christmas trip, but better not hold my breath... So many interruptions for everyone aye... I'm just glad we'll have it for most of this summer.
Love your travels and seeing your family enjoying each others company. Napier is a place we visit regularly as Nicola's aunty's lives there. Great video.
Another epic video Leopards 👍👍 I love Napier both my parents are from there as well so I spent a lot of my younger years growing up down there. We always camped at pourerere or Black head many years ago. Love to go back there one day, me and shells are finally renovating our caravan. Fingers crossed it’s finished by Christmas. Keep up the great vids guys look forward to the next one 👍👍
Thanks Chris... We lived in Waipukurau for several years so are familiar with blackhead and Pourerere. Some great beaches along the coast. Looking forward to freedom camping along there, when we finally get to hit the road full time. Hope you guys are well.
hey Leopards. Napier never looked so good! I'm back in The Bay. Arrived back in Waipawa tonight. BAck in Tauranga in three weeks for a Day Skippers course. Just for one weekend.
thats great Owen. I remember the area around Ahuriri was almost a waste land when I was a kid now it's like the most expensive place to live aye.... Oh how the times have changed. Enjoy the sunny hawkesbay. It's 4 seasons in a day here at the moment.
@@leopardsgowild I can remember when raw sewage used to be piped into the sea at Perfume Point. Hence the name! We used to have a boat moored in there. Didn't pay to look to close at the water the boat was floating in!🤢🤮
Good video Mike. I have been to Insideout RV on Thursday and finally sat in a Tekapo. Monique quoting my add ons so it’s exciting. I’m looking forward to seeing you pick up yours and how the towing goes.
Thanks John is pretty exciting aye. We are too excited about getting the caravan... It's been a little delayed. When would you expect to get yours? I'm really interested to try the towing as well.
Awesome. Thanks so much Eloise. There are some great places to check out for sure... The waterfront is just a small part of the town, but a lot to see and do. Where are you watching from?
*the freedom camping sites are so good, its brilliantly how they have those sites. That water looks pretty rough even for a calm day. My dad is big into his family tree, a few years back he got in touch with some family that we have in Australia, my dads cousins.*
I love how great their memory is. They can tell you in detail about life when they were kids. Freedom camping in New Zealand is different in every town some town don't allow it and have staff activly looking for any one sleeping in vehicles and fining them $200. Some towns are very good.
I feel like I've been living the dream vicariously through your family lol . A lot of familiar places . And we have even future marked camping spots that we've never been too yet . Not long to go and I will be caught up and can finally look forward to new content .
@@leopardsgowild yeah that won't be for a while. I have sort of left. That in the past, I have not been there in years. And besides the government has got me pretty much tide down here at the moment. But praying that you can have the caravan in time for summer because I love watching your adventures. 😇
The most sunshine in New Zealand, sounds like the best place to live? And my research says it’s also has one of the lowest costs of living on South Island, why is that? Enjoyed the video, we have watched it a couple of times- thanks 😊
Napier is in the North Island and pretty standard costs, you do get cheaper fruit though as it's a great area for growing. Lots of apples wineries and Stone fruit.
I can’t wait to move to Napier, going there at the of January :) I’m from Germany
It's great town. Gets very hot in summer...

Thanks mate, glad to have a viewer from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 lots more videos coming
