Great video. I have the CCP lowers as well. I went with the Falcon Coilover which also fits the Mustang and already had the threaded upper mount. We have the same caliper set up as well. I will be reaching out for the spring cups.

Thanks for the video. I have a 64 and am hoping to install something similar, and possibly playing shock towers a bit for headers later.

This is one of the best videos I’ve seen of any subject on this era of Fairlane!

How is the bottoming resistance up front with the 350’ coils? I am looking at a control freak coilover kit, but the lowest spring rate they offer is 450’ (for sbf and 550’ for bbf).

i ride the car low and is good i have not toped or bottomed our the shocks travil .. after a call to Viking shocks ( suppler of the shocks in the kit ) they call for a 350LBS spring in a small block mustang.. my car is 3200 lbs same as the mustang..

what is the steering setup for this car? does it use rack and pinion? i hope to have my 64 back on the ground this winter. Researching options for front suspension now. Rod and Customs, Fatman Fab. this is simple and would save me money and metal work.

the steering is a stock set up... but i used the Boreson box .. See the other vid... this is a true bolt in set up... no fab. and the coil over set up is cheaper than the others and come with Vikings tow way ajust shocks
