I love how open Barry has become in the last couple of years - documentary on Amazon Prime, getting involved with Lions organization, doing interviews, attending events, etc.. One of my favorite players to ever do it, happy for him.
Seriously he has gotten so much better lately. I remember his HOF speech and some of the interviews after and was just like wait how has he been around the media this long and still seems like he can't get words out.
Nobody did what Barry did in 10 seasons, not Walter Payton, not Emmit Smith, not Jim Brown, not anyone. Barry Sanders is the greatest running back in NFL history.
Saying Barry was the hardest person he had to defend and then topping that off by saying hes an even better person than he is football player is a level of appreciation we'd all love to have, shoutaht Barry
Bill was incredible.. I’m SO glad he wants to be a regular .. and him cracking the entire time at the Mad Mel bit was hilarious to watch.. The respect Barry and him gave each other was top notch television 👌
Barry Sanders is THE MAN! I was so fortunate to see him run the ball at the Silverdome and at road games during his career. He's the best I've ever seen. Period. It was also really cool to be at Ford Field for the home opener last season to see the unveiling of his statue and be part of the roar of the crowd when he was introduced. Barry's first class and top notch all the way! #OnePride!
They talk about Belichick being cold, stone-faced, remote, grouchy. But just listen and look at him when he talks about greatness on a football field. There is an ocean of love inside that man for the game, and he shares it gladly with those who are worthy.
With all due respect to Jim Brown and Emmitt Smith, Barry is the greatest RB to ever play. Had he not retired early, there is no doubt in my mind that he would have the all time record and been the first player to ever rush for 20,000 yards in a career. I can't say enough good things about Barry as a player, and he's just as great a person. Hard working, Humble, Modest, Never Showboated even though he absolutely could have, the dude was just the definition of class and skill.
What Pat is doing in sports media is so awesome. Making content that people really want to see. Creating an empire from what’s already a great career in the NFL. Just awesome.
There is something special about seeing the greatest running back you've ever seen and the greatest defensive coach you've ever seen having a football conversation
Philly dude here, man the Lions are LEGIT now! No more building required, this is a finished product rolling out the assembly line in Motown man. I love seeing franchises turn the corner and be winners!
Bill has a more jokey personality with his players. He is very serious but he does have a bit of humor and is more laid back. With the media he is very stern though.
Barry Sanders is my favorite player of all time. Not because he was an exceptional runner but because he is an exceptional human being. The best runner in the league at that time and was one of the most humble athletes ever. This is a great role model for young athletes on how to carry yourself on and off the field or court.
Bill is such a treasure. Especially when he's actually there to speak on matters as opposed to being interviewed pre or post game. I hope he doesn't go back to coaching. This is a total fit.
Five 100+ rushing yard games, three 200+ rushing yard games, and four 300+ rushing yard games. And four 2 touch down games, one 3 touch game, four 4 touch down games, and three 5 touch down games.
Berry was and is different I love the run and Henry lynch and Adrian have give. Me great moment ts but nothing could get your blood running like a berry run he's the only guy I have seen use every move on the Madden controller and then start over on the same play juke, stiff, truck, hurdle, spin, break tackle, all in the first twenty yards and still out run the safety then hand the ball to the ref as if it wasnt a sixty yard touchdown three to four times a season 🐐
Bill saying “how’d you get this guy?!” Was so awesome
Bill turned into a fan when Barry walked into the space. Star struck
Bill was so excited to see barry, his whole demeanor changed.
Bill giving Barry the highest of all praise. Love the genuine respect.
I love seeing Belichick so excited talking to Barry! Would love to see them do a film breakdown together
You can make the argument that among retired NFL players, Tom Brady and Barry Sanders are the most beloved
When Belichick is awestruck
Thing with that is, Brady might be equally as hated by many, but Barry has very few haters. Just sayin
@@mattcottrell4350I’ve never even heard of a Barry hater.
@@FuranzuDesu He didn't win enoughto be hated.
@@FuranzuDesu Can't separate the gentleman from the player, both are off the charts awesome!

💯 my favorite player of all time it sucks that he didn't get a sb. In this era he probably would have went to another team
💯
He does seem much more relaxed and now you see his sense of humor.

Barry Sanders is the greatest running back ever in college and the NFL hands down.
Nobody did what Barry did in 10 seasons, not Walter Payton, not Emmit Smith, not Jim Brown, not anyone. Barry Sanders is the greatest running back in NFL history.
Put Barry behind the line Emmett Smith had and he’d have 20,000 rushing yards. Absolutely the greatest of all time
Imagine Barry playing behind those Cowboys O-Lines from the 90s. He'd probably have been the first player to rush for 20,000 yards in a career
Saying Barry was the hardest person he had to defend and then topping that off by saying hes an even better person than he is football player is a level of appreciation we'd all love to have, shoutaht Barry
The greatest running back ever in my opinion.
The Greatest playerI have ever seen!!
In most peoples opinions
His highlight tape is pure insanity. He made the professionals look like high school football players. Wish I was alive to see him play live.
@@joevukovich2626The only game I saw Barry live was against the Jets when he got 2,000. So EPIC!
Better than emmet smith?
Bill was incredible.. I’m SO glad he wants to be a regular .. and him cracking the entire time at the Mad Mel bit was hilarious to watch.. The respect Barry and him gave each other was top notch television 👌
Bill loves the history of the game so much. It is great to see.

Bellechik fan boying over Barry was awesome, made me like him.
The respect belichick and Nick Saban give to the players and NFL true class
They talk about Belichick being cold, stone-faced, remote, grouchy. But just listen and look at him when he talks about greatness on a football field. There is an ocean of love inside that man for the game, and he shares it gladly with those who are worthy.
Anyone that ever doubted that Barry was the greatest of all time can't anymore. Never seen Bill Belichick praise a player like he did Barry.
You can tell Bill has a lot of respect for Barry Sanders. Wholesome to see ❤
Seeing BB with Pat and the boys is like seeing a teacher out of school at a restaurant with friends laughing
When Bill Belichick says it’s an honor, it’s truly an honor!
Two legends in one room Bill and Berry
Bill standing up clapping is the ultimate respect
Rarely ever do you see Belichick star-struck!
Barry Sanders is class personified. So glad to be a Lions fan and glad i got to see Barry play in person several times.#OnePride
Kids, that's the greatest RB of all-time!! 🎤
It's amazing watching Belichick turn into a fanboy being around certain guys.
Shoutout ESPN for keeping it uncensored 👍
when Bill Belichik is in awe of a football player, that player must be someone fery special. Barry Sanders is that special...

Great interview! Love how Journeys Dont Stop Believing started playing in the background as Legend Breath got on the set!!
Barry leaning in to hear when that unknown guy in a purple suit started talking says a lot about his character. God bless the Goat.

giants fan who grew up watching football in 80s/90s, kids today do not understand how good Barry was.
What other show has goats casually dropping by on the regular. Luv it
Go Barry!
I remember when people said “bill has a sucky personality etc” look at yall now.. Bill is dope! Only military folks understand his demeanor
Nah im not military and i understand it...i played sports tho
Bill has a more jokey personality with his players. He is very serious but he does have a bit of humor and is more laid back. With the media he is very stern though.
Barry Sanders for president please
Barry isn’t AN Lion legend. He’s THE Lion legend and an NFL legend. The greatest player ever pound for pound.
