Before watching nodame, most classical songs put me to sleep, but after watching it, I start appreciating these kinda pieces more. Thanks Nodame-chan :D
This interpretation may not be the best or not the whatever they want. But when I discovered this piece in Nodame Cantabile some years ago, I came to like Schubert. This is my preferred version of this movement. I just found that I like Schubert when it's emotionally played, like here. Thanks you Iku Miwa. and thank you for the share.
Yeah. This also happens to be my favorite rendition of this piece. I usually hear it being played to fast. Or the heavy chords not being played with enough force... So it becomes bland. But this version carries you along the whole piece well. In my opinion of course. ^^
This is my favoutite listening of this Sonata, thanks to Nodame. I prefer this one over Richter's, Arrau's, Brendel's or even Lupu's recordings. What happened to me??!!!
Fell in love with this piece after hearing it on Nodame Cantabile. After listening to a number of other interpretations on RUclips, I keep coming back to this one ♥
I discovered this music with Nodame a few years ago and bought a version on cd and then listened to it many times since. Today, I wanted to find a version to add to my list and found this one without knowing Iku Miwa sensei. Such an expressive play ! Far better than my cd version ^_^.
This same pianist is playing this on Andrea Romans's site. He has many thousands of views but never says who it is. People have been asking for years. I will put it on!
I found it years ago on Andre Romano's site, now its gone. But this sounds the same. Maybe he used it without crediting the artist. He would never say who it was.
Because of Nodame, I have developed a taste for classical and piano music
Mee 2ooo
I believe 80 percent of people who watch this video know this piece from Nodame cantabile :)

I think many people have learned to see the beauty in classical music, after watching "Nodame Cantabile". So a great anime in my eyes!!
I like how this recording is a lot... heavier, I guess, than most recordings out there. It really gives the piece a great deal of depth. I love it.

Whose is this arrangement? It's amazingly perfomed. The passion and the vibration makes you speechless.
のだめのシューベルトの人ですね。すぐわかります。
素敵です。音割れしていて残念です。
本当に素敵な曲ですね。
シューベルトのお気に入りです。

nodame! :3
Perfect
If you like this movement, you will also enjoy the three other movements of that sonata.
So beautiful. I love it! ^_^
Awesome!
i personally like the tempo of this performance. If it is any faster I feel it is rushed and immediately loses its elegance.
yeah compared to the other videos here. the tempo is fast. i like this one. kind of you will enjoy hearing this one
Grandioso
小六の時発表会で弾いたなー
Please don't say: Piano Tiles brought me here.
can you upload the full video? thanks . I really like this one.
Nodame Is the bestest
@fevimaster igual for me nodame is wonderful...^___^
ah this is beautiful. i will learn this. lol
Yes, I saw it after comment you :)
But it's not a "song", it's a master-piece ;)
Shigatsu wa kimi no uso brought me here!!
I am curious as to how o.O Did they play this piece in Shigatsu. If so, it kinda seems they are using the same pieces as Nodame Cantabile.
One of the contestants were playing it.
Eufon ious Do you recall the episode and time?
Near the end.
Eufon ious Of which episode lol
Who is the pianist please?
Jeanette Gabriel Schubert
Copa Dee -Schubert is the composer, he is dead. I want to know who is playing the piano. Thanks
Marymead2 oh sorry the pianist is Iku Miwa (A Japanese pianist) it's in the description.
Really! I had no idea. Where is the description? Thank you.
But if it's lyrical then I would call it a song, regardless of whether it has words set to it.
Oh really ? :)
hum, this is not what we can properly call a "song" by our times, maybe a piano (master)piece woud be a better appelation ;).
