I have yet to find another comic strip as funny as Calvin and Hobbes, it’s great
You sir , are by far the best voice over for these characters . If ever a feature cartoon film is ever done , I hope they hire you to voice over these two characters , great job !
Thank you very much!
One of the wittiest and funny comic strips ever
It's cummical.
One of the best stories in this strip
I miss Calvin and Hobbs so much....❤❤❤👍🏻
Me too. Me too.
I love how this can be interpreted as Calvin making up the duplicates to shirk the responsibility for his actions. Claiming it was someone who looked just like him. This is something a child would imagine, and VERY in character for Calvin. Love it
This single story line could have gone on forever, I think.
Bill Watterson might like this. These videos are a good way of bringing C&H to life without animating them.
That was brilliant.
The entitty
Amazing
Wonderful! Damn, I miss them both.
Most important thing about a Time Machine, face in the right direction
congratulation! You put a biiiiggg smile in my face today!!
Mine too! :)

I’m happy that Calvin found a solution to his clones that worked for all of them. I’m a bit worried that a bird will find them though.
That was fun to watch. Thank you
This was really cute. 💖
Well, techincally there's no reasons for the duplicates to hide from the mom, because they've already told her they're duplicates. In fact, it was strange the cookie guy told her that, given he (or some other guy) said they would convince the mom they're all Calvin. Also, Calvin should've lifted that box to show his mom why "he's" been acting out. I'd love to see her reaction
A fan made rewrite is always viable !
@@dantemacias2411 Oh, I much prefer fact over fiction, i.e., real hypotheticals over unreal hypotheticals.
It’s a good voice, but definitely a far cry from my imagination’s Calvin and Hobbes. Just goes to show how individual something like that can be. Watterson would enjoy that phenomenon, I think.
Yeah.
Literally the reason why Watterson never let anyone animate them
@@SuperJamz64 I’m pretty baked and the voices were satisfying to read along with. I’m a 19 year old college student btw gold content man
I love the comic strip, but I can't relate to the voices you give the characters (I imagine them differently)...so I simply watch it with the sound off, and then it works out just fine. This is a classic Calvin storyline.
For Hobbes it’s not the voice I imagined. I always thought Hobbes would be more dignified. It is a very good job though. Probably everyone imagines a cartoon in their own way.
Yeah. Thank you for being civil.
I shut off the sound. A cartoon should be seen and not heard. ;-)
For some reason I can picture a Calvin and Hobbes theme song like the friends one, I’ll be there for you would really fit and different clips from their ten season run. Depending on what season it is, if they ever made a show. I can picture it with the way you do it
Get this me and my sister were arguing about the tigers name
I said hobs
She said hobes
So we let mom decide and she said
HOBAYS
Miss you mom
Both Calvin and Hobbes were philosophers with a dim view of human nature. Calvin was a Swiss lawyer in the 1500s whose writings and teaching developed into the Radical Reformation. Calvinism developed into Puritanism.
It reminds me of a book called FLATLAND. A BRILLIANT book by a mathmatitian.
What would happen if Calvin accidentally did this to Suzie
Hobbes would get muchas smooches.
Your voice acting is on point and your parents!
Blink indeed
Thank you for the Calvin and Hobbes comic strip. I appreciate your attempt at doing voices, but honestly, I find it more enjoyable with the sound off. Also, I would prefer having the panels on screen, held still with no pan, long enough to read the dialog silently. Thanks again.
You're welcome. I'm working with iMovie, which doesn't let me display the whole comic at once. I have to do the pan with iMovie. iMovie isn't the best editing software, but it's all I've got.
Can you do one on the song sparrow strip
With pleasure.
NOT working...This isn't how I pictured their dialogue.
What did I do wrong?
@@SuperJamz64 Just a bit too 'Funky." But, hey---'To each his own.'
yeah, doesn't work for me either... too cartoony and over the top silly sounding
@@KingTenaya - Calvin's voice is almost right in my head, but he needed to read the words like a person, a small nasally bratty child... not quite like 'that'. Hobbes was WAY wrong imho, I imagine him being sorta deeper, though I can never picture just the right voice with him... but he certainly doesn't sound like another Calvin! The mother, well, no offense, she needed to act more than just read words off a paper... and why couldn't she read the lines for Susie and the teacher?
I hate critiquing, since I want to be honest _and_ nice, but I hope this helps improve future readings.
Even number.007.
I'll bring my u.s.government click pen.its a 9mm.lol. my mechanical pencil is 0.7 Bic.
Videos like these are why Bill went into hiding in the first place

Need a new Casting Director ...
@@SuperJamz64 My point exactly.
