I hiked a few miles with a 35# pack, thought my legs were going to fall off and I was going to die. Props for even finishing that race.

I completed my Bataan Death March just a few weeks ago in Kuwait. It sucked because each step on gravel felt like a knife stabbing my foot. I had two breaking points in which I felt that pain at mile 13. Mile 19 was my second breaking point as my hips wanted to give up.
8 years of active duty service helped me embrace the suck. What also helped me was that I was a mailman on foot. Did it for 4 years while averaging 15 miles a day and dealing with MN winters. Not to mention that delivering mail during the peak season means being on foot for 10-12 hours treading through snow. I guess I like to suffer, but that's all a part of achieving your own greatness and pushing yourself to be the very best in what you want to pursue.

I did the bataan ruck March, unfortunately it was only 9 miles and not 26. But none the less pretty fun, did it with 50 pounds

Rucking with 35lbs without hills is easy. I can do it all day. Unless your gonna walk/jog like faster than 4.5 mph
