How reliable is the transmission on these over 200K for road trips/mountains? I have a 2001 2WD with 187K well maintained never towed. It has new bernstein front shox, radiator, and alternator. Recently did new steering rack, lower ball joints, lower control arms, tie rods, and sway bar bushings all OEM. Only thing was the transmission fluid was never changed at 100K. I am afraid to do it now. Still shifts very smooth unless you are gunning it from 40-60mph. Dealership quoted a brand new transmission at $6.5K if it goes. Thinking about taking it on a national park trip just slightly worried about the transmission.
Na you’ll be golden. Don’t worry about the trans. I’d get 7 or 8 junkyards transmissions for 6.5k before I get a new one from the dealership. That being said, I doubt it’ll go out on you
It’s an Ironman 4x4 Land Cruiser 100 series bumper modified. They are actually having a sale right now if you wanted to get one. They usually have a few 25% off sales throughout the year. I have a video on my channel with the mods needed for the bumper. Let me know if you have any other questions
Non at all. I contacted crutchfield and they gave me all the things needed to interface with the jbl system and steering wheel controls. I have a video of the install on my channel
Someone on the TSOR facebook group was giving these out a few years back if you made a donation to a certain foundation. I think it was for autism research, but I cannot remember for sure.
Nice!! Curious if your original rear bumper cover is for sale and its condition? I have a white 07 that the bumper cover needs to be replaced. The passenger side was partially crunched before I purchased the vehicle. I'm looking for one that has not damage other than scratches that can be touched up.
Great video man, your truck's come a long way! Last time I was at that high an elevation I got a wicked headache for a couple days, almost ruined my trip. How are you liking your Badlands 12k? I use the heck out of mine and it's never let me down
New sub since I just found your channel. I have a 2002 Sequoia with many of the mods that you have. I'm going to go through all of your vids to get more detail on everything you've done. New baby, new MBA and back to school? You sound like a man with a plan. Good for you. I have a winch bumper, but I'm still looking for a winch. I bought the truck modified, but it had some issues that I'm working through. The 4wd was out and that turned out to be a chore. I fixed that and have moved onto the next issue, which is brakes. I'll go with the Lexus mod too.
A lot of times right when I first upload a video, it takes an hour or so before the HD version is done processing. Must be what’s happening. I’ll check back on it in a bit and see what’s going on. Thanks for the update! I’ll for sure monitor it
congrats on the baby. things on the up and up for you its great to see. thanks for your content!
Please do the ECU calibration vid . I can't figure it out😂😂. I did the 460 brake conversion a few months back, good improvement.
Ha alright. I need to recalibrate mine. I’ve been putting it off but I’ll do one soon!
What size tires? Looks perfect!
Sweet video, love love love the channel!
Turn up 🤣🤣

Do you have a link to the center console organizer? It looks like something I could use.
I really like how clean your setup is.
Nice video, you have done an amazing job on the Sequoia. I have a 2002 and hopefully I can get it to that level.
Just chip away at it one project at a time. That is what I had to do
