I never thought this was gonna be as much of a great game but it's really unique. Has an interesting aspect that separates it from other games
I loved the game the whole way through but the amount of balancing issues in the game was unreal. From over leveled haters on low floors to mushroom stacking to make boss fights a joke. Aside from it's problems, Let it Die is truly a unique game with a comical ending that I found hilarious, unlike most of the comment section.
I tried to play this game. I reeally did, the gameplay was fun, and the characters were fun. The controls are what killed it for me
what? lol. the movement in this game is fantastic and so is the combat, that is not the game's issue. the issue is that it ran out of content a long, long time ago. they added reskinned floors with reskinned bosses and said it was "new" content. The game basically died after the 4CEMEN were released. the reason this game flopped is mainly due to poor marketing, a lot of people have never ever heard of this game. one of the best games I've ever played but sadly it didn't make enough money for them.

@@DK-ep2ov you are actually fuckin dumb if you think the movement and combat in this game are "fantastic" its been proven SO MANY TIMES by different reviewers and videos WITH evidence that the gameplay is janky af and you can get killed very often through mistakes that aren't even your fault.

I think thats the point, to give you a easy ending while working hard til the top. But it would be interesting if it was harder with a really good ending

A mushroom that makes you invincible? I've never played this game, but that seems pretty overpowered.
Its not rare at all! You find tons of these shrooms at floor 31+ lying on the ground. You also get some guaranteed from expeditions. Its not actually that useful in bossfights as you still lose durability and still get staggered, making tanking bossfights pointless.
Templar Knight yes. The invincibility shroom being common is tempered by the fact very few fires exist up there to grill them, which makes their effect last longer. This is easily circumvented by the fire wand though. That thing is weak overall, but it has two very distinct uses. Shredding enemy armor, and create a short lasting fire to cook in. See, each armor piece has durability points, and the amount lost is not determined by the damage, just getting hit. The DoT from fire counts each tick against this.

This game looks like if Takeshi Kitano cos-played as voldo, while playing silent hill, had the idea for a dark souls game and it was made by capcom.

I noticed a bit of darksouls at first. Then the character ran too fast and the menus were weird when he was eating and he's kinda cekk shaded.

Sure, the boss is hard to some people. But the real hard part was getting there. I mean, all of the mini-bosses were hard but jin-die stood out the most. Every jin-die fight costs at least one DM, because there's always a way for jin-die to screw you over in every fight. Same thing with Jackson, which is pretty much an evolved version of jin-die. Can't say the same thing about goto-9 and crowley though. Goto-9 could damage you some times with his slam, maybe his roll, but other than that, he's just as much of a pushover as coen. But crowley. *Crowley.* Has to be the hardest boss in the game. Here's why. The arena's fairly small, and his spells are the main thing he uses. The lightning will kill you real fast. And you're only around level 75 so you don't have the vast choice of weapons like you do against taro. You also don't have as much health as you do against taro. I feel like the only thing hard about the taro was the fighter that has your weapon. Because if you used a powerful weapon, you'd get killed by the Enemy. But if you used a weak weapon, it would be useless to the coen fight after it.
And don't know if it was different for you with your character and so but the Crowley fight was the easiest do your research on what he's not good against and grab your strongest weapon and go at it I was way over prepared fighting crowley I had 12 DM's thinking I was gonna die 50 times nah 2 hits he was down not to mention he's the youngest boss makes sense that he's weak but if he was strong to you alright

The goal of the is to get to the top, if I remember correctly theres a clan thing after floor 10 too. The game is pretty hard and is based more on skill than weapon, so think of it as a rouge like dark souls thats online multiplayer as in theres clans, don't forget the player invasions too. That still exists. So uh.. yeah its good. PS4 exclusive f2p, its not pay 2 win too so its pretty good that way. Go ahead and try if you have a PS4, tons of fun.

Well if this the first time you’re hearing of it, allow me to indulge you (yes I know this comment is old but fuck it). So the world is set after a tectonic apocalypse, the plates of the world moved rapidly and caused: earthquakes; starvation; war; disease and poverty to form. From the ashes of the world and most of south japan formed the tower of barbs. The tower formed from the many drifting pieces of junk, and lost souls that had found themselves there traveling the ocean. So it was then bought by yostuyama enterprises and uncle death, a cult that prayed on the truly strong to get to the top and be consumed by the moon. Uncle death pretty much throws that away in the finale cutscene, but until then you will have to fight every agonising death trap they throw at you to pass each floor.
I think that sums up the objective but what about gameplay. Well to put it simply, it does this thing that dark souls does which is be the hardest rouge like it can possibly be. I have broke many controllers on dark souls, but certainly not as much as this game. This makes dark souls look like Disney land is what I’m saying. So when playing this, max out level, stickers, mastery, equipment, armour, everything. You won’t regret over preparing trust me lol.
Lastly, towards the end is it impossible and a pay wall? No. It’s not impossible but it isn’t easy. You will have to grind a few levels and a lot of materials to prepare, but it is not impossible and it’s perfectly fine. It is pretty much the definition of high risk high reward, only if the risk was a crazy dragon creature and the reward was the satisfaction of killing him. Anyway it’s perfectly possible if you don’t pay.
So yes this game is good, but just be aware it doesn’t give hand outs. If you want something you have to earn it.
it's free to play only available in the Japanese or the NA Playstation Store so most people who only have an EU region PSN account probably didn't know about this game, though the game kinda focus too much on pay to win or in this game's case pay to easily beat the game.

That feeling when a game tries to be clever by subverting typical conventions in its genre, but is too stupid to understand how other games are able to do so without pissing people off in the process... Big hint here, you don't make them spend actual fucking money on in-game currency and then pull this shit.
You know... I like this version of Death, unlike the normal Death we know of, the one that never talks and has no humor, personality, or sense of interest in anything whatsoever! This Death however is the opposite to the Death we know!

the boss of Sony Interactive Entertainment *Shushei Youshida* is around level 300 on this game, I believe he even beats it already.
I followed him in the ps4 community system, he love to post about his progress in the game though you can't send message to him as he seems to set his privacy policy to private, but anyone can comment on his post but you don't get a feedback, but it was so hilarious, I mean you're a boss of a giant company like that yet still have time to play games, maybe he paid those micro transaction to get so strong early?
