2008 and 2009 were amazing for Indiana Jones fans. They brought back Indy to pop culture across videogames, books, comics and movies. There was a very conscious crescendo into the premiere of the 2008 movie.

Back in 2007, I loved the Lego Star Wars games. On New Year, I found the Indiana Jones trailer on LSWTCS, and I was curious. I asked my dad to show me the movies so I could play the game and get the plot, and not gonna lie: I fell in love with the franchise. Indiana Jones became my favorite film series of all time, and the good archeologist went on to become my favorite movie hero.
I used to be bullied for being more of a brainy kid rather than a sporty one. I saw in Indy someone who wasn't just a buff dude that used brute force to save the day; he was a smart guy used both brains and brawn, and I loved to see a hero like that. Made me think that being a brainy boy wasn't that bad.
Maybe marketing got to me, but I am glad it did. Hell, I just began to play Fortnite again last year just to get the Indiana Jones skin. I wish he was as popular as he was back in 2008. Indy deserves it.
(Also, spoilers for Dial: I think his plea in the third act of the movie was a reflection of the current state of the franchise, thinking the world didn't have a place for him anymore. Maybe that is why that hit me a bit harder)

I apologize if you've already gotten comments about this but I wanted to talk about the tangent regarding Luke's Lightsaber in the gamecube cutscene.
    It's green not blue.
HOWEVER it is a different shade of green that's more blue, something like teal. It's not the regular shade of blue which is probably why your friends were confused when you called it blue because it's clearly not the same color as the sky.
I think what happened is either the wrong RGB value was used for the lightsaber during the cutscene or the green somehow blended with the blue sky. Either way it was clearly a mistake as the other versions fixed it.
You are wrong for calling it blue but you are not wrong that the color is different from normal. You're now both invalidated & validated. lol
Side note, enjoying the video. I usually wait until finishing a video before commenting but this one is so long and the lightsaber color is a tangent that I knew I'd forget about it if I didn't comment on it now.
Also YES! Dexter's Diner is the superior hub world and I've always been sad that it wasn't in TCS. I know TCS Modding is becoming a thing so maybe in the future people will figure out how to make custom levels & add Dexter's Diner to the game.

Seeing that whip again blew me back so hard, my mom knew how much I loved Indiana jones as a kid and so she bought me his fedora and that same whip and I remember going to the unfinished guest house we had that looked like a temple with the concrete and beams sticking out and going with my dog as my partner and tying it to a high tree and trying to swing on it and risking my flimsy little eight year old body to fall off, lovely days

My first ever Lego set was an Indiana Jones Lego set that cost 10 bucks and I blame it for a now 15 year addiction

The very first videogame I ever bought was Lego Indiana Jones on the Nintendo DS, I was 8. wow! That is unbelievable how quickly time flies. It makes sense why I was so into Indiana Jones at that time now... (Also I played that Jedi Vs Jedi flash game too, thanks for the side tangent nostalgia trip)

I specifically remember having the exact same issue with the second level of that flash game where every time I would get through the 2nd level it would just freeze at the vey end and not let me continue. Every single time.

I really liked Staff of Kings, but I was so dog shit at the game I could never beat the end of the first level where you fly a plane through a canyon. It took me a couple years after it came out to get good
