Prayer of the Children: Annalie Johnson of OVCC at Kurt Bestor Christmas 2019 LIVE (soundcheck)

Annalie Johnson (of One Voice Children's Choir) sings part of "Prayer of the Children" by Kurt Bestor. Annalie was honored to be one of the child soloists Kurt Bestor chose for his 2019 Christmas concert at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City. This video was filmed at the soundcheck before the show. Annalie sings only the second verse, so this is a small piece of the whole song, but we hope you enjoy it!
The other soloists at this performance were Catalina L. and Alex F., both also from One Voice Children's Choir.
Kurt Bestor wrote "Prayer of the Children" in the 1990's for children suffering in war-torn areas of the former Yugoslavia--now the countries of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Macedonia, and Croatia. Please read his story about the song here: www.kurtbestor....
