A big sponge like you get in car wash packs is a good ultralight bailer. It’s been great watching you two increase your paddling skills from just falling down the river to picking lines ! Love it
Hahaha thanks mate 😂 it’s certainly made it a lot more enjoyable. Safe to say I’ve drawn the line with rapids outside of my ability after that second attempt at the washing machine 😅

I watched the first half of this from my hospital room while waiting for my lift. Home now with a replacement hip joint and wishing I could be there. Just. Finished watching it, what an epic place. ❤
Wishing I had a larger screen. The stunning beauty of that perfect reflection in the canyon of light and shade, depth of water and field of vision, jaw dropping!! And Paradise Falls!! And I laughed so much, thanks for taking us along.

Well done mate, the go pro footage ended up coming out pretty good. Also loved your hearing your memories of being a kid in an aussie summer storm. We have had a few here over the last few days, and when the hail storm its my kids are also outside collecting it all up 😄

Some of those rapids looked pretty heavy boys 😮 Whole trip looked magic nice diversity of weather always makes for a good time. Carry that boulder out I dare yah😂 That creek did look like pretty good gold potential.
Yeah the weather was unreal. Just can’t believe how often and how quickly it was changing. Have the trip a real funny vibe.

On this, do yourself a favour and swap your raft for one with a Tzip and self bailing!
Thanks mate! Yeah we were pretty lucky. Been a while since I’ve run anything with a decent water level 😂
As for the raft, this was a borrowed one, I do have a self bailing gnarwhal with T-Zip but it was three hours north of where I was. Although that raft did also have a Tzip.

Yes boys, smash those rapids! That was bloody epic! The waterfall scene at the end had me welling up a bit, I'll be honest. I know you've had some tough times recently, so that must have been the perfect tonic. But the main question is what happened to Pack Rafter??
Thanks a lot mate, that’s very kind of you to say. That waterfall experience at the end was so incredible surreal, it was so hard to describe it. It was definitely a nice reminder of what there is out there and how healing those places can be. 🙏
