This has to be one of the times when the music in a live concert is better than the actual soundtrack itself. Journey to the Line sounds A-M-A-Z-I-N-G , the drums in the end literally transform this epic song , to an epic-er-er-er-er song. Wow , just wow , one of my favorite performances!
Great recording, so many live recordings have people bragging about "HD" live recordings but the sound is terrible, pleased you made a great effort with the audio, more than listenable on headphones. I really hope they recorded a concert for release on DVD/BD!
They did indeed, I believe it is slated for release in 2017. Also I myself hate "bootleg" concert videos that have poor audio, so when I began recording the concerts I attended to I immediately invested in a small external microphone that was said to have very good quality even for concert recording. Not disappointed at all, amazing thing for the price and size!
hey im not sure whats going on but around 6:30 when everyone is clapping the sound on the left cuts out and is replaced with the crowd clapping. i am listening on fillips fildelio x2 headphones which have an amazingly large and accurate soundstage.
I am surprised at how many people were openly and blatantly filming on their phones. The women a few rows up was using a camcorder. I get the feeling that HZ really doesn't care if it means more ppl listen to his awesome music. If anything it made me buy tickets for when he comes to NYC. Great job on this. The sound is awesome. I have an 11.4 surround setup and I am blasting it all the way up to 11 and the room is rocking. I love this vid so much.
That's one of the reasons why I use a GoPro - because there's no screen to look at and I can just look at the stage while vaguely aiming the camera over there.

J'dois avouer que dans un théâtre antique, ça donne vraiment un côté unique à une telle performance. Absolument magnifique, de loin le meilleur concert auquel j'ai pu assister. Et puis mince... Presque 3 heures de concert, quoi!

I cannot love this video anymore. I've watched it three times in the passed two days. Great recording. The Da Vinci code was absolutely beautiful. I have new found respect for the Pirates franchise. Thin Red Line was freaking beautiful. Aurora made me cry. And hoooooooooolllllyyyyy shiiiiiiiiittttt the encore. Omfg. I'm loosing my mind. It's so great. While he isn't my favorite film composer, he moved up a couple ranks after this. It's so so so epic. I am seeing him in NYC in July. I. Can. Not. Wait. Thank you so much for filming and posting this.

In retrospect I really should have told him something but I didn't really want to cause a scene either and just hoped the mic wouldn't pick it up - which it sadly did. Guy on the front row turned around and shushed him during Interstellar, though.
Have seen it in Brussels...but this must have a great (far better) venue... wow And his set was changed considerably...almost a new concert...just amazing...
OMG! STOP CLAPPING! Why do people clap in the middle of songs? This isn't your favorite country rock band at the bar. This is a performance people go to, to listen to something intricate and beautiful, not your skin-lumps hammering together. "stupid donkey sitting to my right would absolutely not stop humming and LA-LA-LA-LA-ing the tracks he knew" Man, I'm so tired of these people. And the ones who bring kids ~10 years of age to these shows. If they can't sit still or shut up anywhere else, why would you bring them to a venue, where their only job is to do exactly those two things? Last time I was at a John Williams tribute concert, these five kids sat around me and my GF, and just wouldn't stop talking, or kicking the seat in front of them, or gasping in excitement to their friend next to them, exclaiming loudly which movie the music was from. It said so on the fucking screen! We all know already! But I don't blame them. I blame their parents. There were also two middle-aged women, who kept talking, despite my GF telling them off. People suck!
Not everyone understands how movements are part of a bigger piece so when a movement ends they think the piece is over. I get that, it's not really their fault! But, I absolutely detest when people chatter in the background during the pianissimo parts of a piece! It's obvious the music is still playing yet they still need to talk and ruin the mood that is being established! Now that's plain rudeness!
Btw there are small mistakes in your setlist: Madagascar 2 track is Rescue Me. This performance is insane, to see Zimmer taking his songs out on the road is amazing. These are modern day symphonies we can enjoy live.
